Some guy who claimed to play for the LA Clippers. We looked him up when we landed, no mention of him. I guess he figured it was a safe lie? Or he gave us a fake name lol. Who knows.

Sounds more famous than some people I've seen mentioned in this thread...

I bet she works what she can hold with her seniority.

I have a very good friend who is DL FA, he has been with the airline now 41 yrs, since the merger with NW, his seniority had dropped, but he continues to hold ATL-JNB, and ATL-LHR. So I doubt she can hold whatever line she wants.

There's also the possibility that this additional small segment can "fill up" her schedule of allowed time/hours without having to work an additional day.

Your point is actually the same as mine. She can hold whatever she is able to hold based on her seniority, not necessarily exactly what she wants.

Martin Luther King III and his family were on DCA-ATL this afternoon. Today is the MLK, Jr. federal holiday in the US. He was very nice and took several pictures with passengers, and even a group picture with all of the FAs.

Not sure this would be classified as "Celebrity" sightings, (more like a wayback Wednesday!) but was on LAX > SMF flight yesterday afternoon on a E75 regional jet sitting in first row of EconPlus and 4 guys walk on and the first thing I think to myself immediately is "...the band is here..." Ended up talking to them a bit and found out they indeed are. Was "Great White" (one of the "Hair bands of the 80's/early 90's) off to do a gig in Oroville at a casino I guess. Not as much hair as back then, but still had the look of a band. They seemed pretty decent guys.
