I certainly wouldn't have recognized him. Looking at his Wiki page, he looks like any other 42 year old man! Did you really know that it was him, or did one of the FAs tell you?

"...the band is here..." Ended up talking to them a bit and found out they indeed are. Was "Great White" (one of the "Hair bands of the 80's/early 90's) off to do a gig in Oroville at a casino I guess. Not as much hair as back then, but still had the look of a band. They seemed pretty decent guys.
Next morning, standing in F pre-board line, I'm behind a big guy, black leather jacket, long ponytail, guitar case. Turns out it's one of Seger's guitar players. Lo and behold, I get the seat next to him. First thing I say to him was, "Bob wouldn't let you fly back on Seger One?" (my name for the private jet Seger used to/from cities). After I explain the context, he thinks its the funniest thing and we get to talking.
I figure he's probably sick and tired of being asked questions just about Bob, so we talked about his family, his guitar store in LV etc. He can't believe I did a 13 hr trip to Detroit in March, just to see a concert. I tell him I was at Cobo for Live Bullet, all Bob's other DTW concerts and there was no way I was going to miss this one. I even pull out the t-shirt I wore the night before. It's twenty years old, about fifteen sizes too small but its from a summer concert series at the old Pine Knob where the band broke attendance records. He wonders why it's in my carryon. I tell him I didn't want to take the chance of DL losing it.
Only "celebrity" moment was when he wanted to know if I wanted him to sign something. So he signed the Delta drink napkin for me, which I still have, somewhere in a box While waiting at LAS baggage claim, he introduces me to his family.

Joe Walsh was at MSP the day after the Super Bowl. He was escorted through the TSA checkpoint between the international arrivals area and concourse G in Terminal 1. I spotted him and his wife emerging from the checkpoint while I was working as a travelers assistance volunteer. Being a total classical music nerd, all I saw was a man about my age (75, but he’s actually 5 years younger than me; a rock musician’s life is a hard one in many ways) with straggly, long, yellow-grey hair. When I asked if I could help him find his connecting gate he said something about “going direct” and then was immediately claimed by a Delta agent who escorted him away to a VIP lounge. Another Delta agent or a TSA agent explained who Walsh was when I asked.
Most of the Super Bowl entertainers arrived in private jets but Sting was spotted at one of the MSP baggage claim carousels. Even I would have recognized him!

Sunny Anderson of The Food Network's "The Kitchen" was on ATL-LGA yesterday. Kept to herself, wore shades as passengers were boarding. (Although I'm pretty sure I'm the only one who recognized her.)
She deplaned quickly when it was her turn and hurried up the jet bridge. She was walking up the ramp in D when one of the Delta credit card guys said something to her. She stopped halfway up the ramp, turned around and started yelling at him for talking to her. She asked why he would talk to someone who was obviously in a hurry. She asked his name, took his photo and told him he was rude. For someone who was "in a hurry" she certainly took her time to put him in his place. I'm not sure how long she was there, but I could hear her yelling at him as I entered the Sky Club.
