Delta One Seat Function Assist

I booked a flight to NRT for my mom in Delta One and am wondering if there is a card or some help she can get on the seat, if needed, by an FA? She’s ‘only’ 67, but when I look at the videos on the seat, it looks a bit complex with pull-down lights, etc.
thanks for the feedback!

Is non-bulkhead, non-aisle (unless I take row 25 aisle as part of the set of "4") Premium Select worth $550 vs. 41A?

I still have to go from this flight to ICN - BKK in regular Y so I'm inclined to say no, especially since my legroom in 41A is likely to be better than in PS and since it's all day flight (even if shades are closed), so I'm not going to successfully sleep (thankfully my MUA cleared to D1 for the return night flight ICN - MSP - RDU).

And yes I know "worth it" is subjective -- I've never flown PS or the A359 on DL (and only flown PE on JL) so I don't have a great comp in my head to compare it to and consider.

I'd probably stick with 41A.

The Main Cabin seats are only half an inch narrower than the PS seats. 41A is also far enough back to where you may get lucky and have an empty seat next to you. I think the $550 upgrade is probably too much.

Yep.

In one of my 41A experiences I had the couple seated in front of me in row 40 use the space in front of my seat for their cooler/snack bag storage. Truly crazy.

I hoped the FA would say something to them as this technically blocked exist access, but they never did.

I did end up sticking with 41A -- which was a great call. Tons of legroom, easy to slide out to the bathroom, and I avoided the crowds that formed after meal service in front of the folks sitting in row 40. Will definitely look to take 41A or 41J for future flights.

For future readers this is how much legroom I had -- in this picture I was fully stretched out and still had loads of room (5' 11'' ~165) even with 40B's McDonald's bag. Plus the fact that 41A has a hard divider is great because you don't have to worry about 41B spilling into your seat.

The flight is also long enough that having to wait until take-off for the IFE isn't a big deal -- and the IFE may even be better in 41A because it is the same screen size but it has a much bigger range of motion vs. the seatback monitors.

The only time I envy people shorter than me is on a plane . This was me at 6’ 3.5” 😄😄. Not gonna lie, seat was great and it didn’t hurt that I scored an empty next to me, but man did I miss the food in the forward cabins!

Flew that bird a few weeks ago to NRT, couldn't believe how ragged the plane started to look already....especially the high traffic areas around lavs (carpeting torn and worn) and the lavs themselves, hardware hanging lose etc.

Any timeline on adding the C+ to A359's (A350-900's) ? I'm sure the remaining 2 (to be delivered in 2020) will be the upgraded interior (4 group interior) from TLS. I also haven't heard anything about the last 10 of the order of 25 A350-900's: were they indeed converted to A330-900NEO's, cancelled, or delayed for 4 to 5 years?

Noticed this as well , but fit and finish has been poor from the outset. I flew the first month in PS and saw plastic broken and separated from seat back. A toddler sat in bulkhead infront of me , plopped down into the seat and sent bits of plastic flying at my face. That was month 1 so not surprised they are not wearing well. Love the a350 though.
