There's no fare published for PS it appears. My guess is oversight. Its Thanksgiving week and commonly theres different fares for that period. They most likely didn't want to sell PS back when DTW/PVG wasn't assured of having equipment. While it's now guarenteed to have PS, someone overlooked the fact that they needed to add a PS fare specifically for Thanksgiving week.

Agree it's an oversight / fare bug but it's not just Thanksgiving - it's all of 2018.

Is Delta still locked into only 2 359's delivered in 2019? (January and February time frame) and 2 in 2020 (totaling 15) and remaining 10 still uncertain?

I'm looking at some promotional photos of the VantageXL (which I understand is the base for the new suites) and it looks like there isn't a foot rest (like the A330) and instead is foot well like the 767. Is that true? I felt like on the 767 I was in an "angle flat" seat and it even looks angled in the promo photo (see link below).

I'll grant you the image on the linked page looks weird, but if you've ever flown on the AF angle-flats you'll appreciate the DL 767...

There is an ottoman. There is just a piece that angles up for foot support.

The 767s may have a slight angle but it doesn't impact sleeping (echoing the AF angle-flat comment above).

Planning ahead for a couples trip on ATL-ICN onboard the A350 and am trying to plan seats. Any insight on pros and cons of one of these strategies?

- 2B/2C: normal suite seats in the middle, toward the front of the cabin. Can visit side by side during the flight, but lose access to gasper vents.
- 1B/1C: closer to lavatories and possibly more light pollution. But on the 767 these seats have a WAY better footwell with a lot more space. Is that true on the 350 as well?
- 3A/4A or similar: gain control over a window, plus gasper vents. But lose the ability to chat during the flight.

Any thoughts? What would you folks choose in this situation? In particular, is Row 1 a winning or losing strategy?

I really like having the vents, and also sitting next to my spouse, this is a tough one. I have a very small, cheap and surprisingly effective battery powered fan, and I think I would end up choosing center seats and bringing that. Here is the link on Amazon if you're interested:

Do you like having a window? Does your wife? These sorts of questions are always confusing because it's basically about your personal preferences and none of us really know what those are.

Window seats is better as it has more privacy. However, Delta A350 Delta One has a big drawback of being like a half coffin in sleeping position. If you move any inch at all during sleep, you will hit something, especially the feet and knees. I crossed it off my list of J product after my experience in ATL - ICN. Bumped my feet in so many places during the flight and calf was pressed against the walls constantly (to the point that it caused slight numbness), it is not a business class product for any length of mid-flight sleep comfort.

Given a choice of only Delta A350 on this route ATL - ICN, I will take economy. Yes, economy (or premium economy). ATL - ICN Delta One gave so much discomfort in sleeping for me. Amazingly, ICN - ATL economy was not too bad at all as the flight was less than 12 hours, a more direct flight than KE. Economy does not have the level of sit up comfort of Delta One, but heck, I am paying much less. Flying Delta One sitting up the whole way is not business class standard these days.

Strange to hear how poor the seat padding is in D1 on the A359.

We took it in PS DTW-PEK earlier this year and I found that seat to be the best padded non-lie-flat seat I have ever sat in. No numb legs at all like I get in the 777 C+ seats after like 2-3 hours.

The only issue with PS might have been that there was too much food. Don't worry if you board with an empty stomach.

But the ride and air quality left me feeling better after 14 hours than I often feel flying 1/3 that distance in C+ domestically.

I flew in a bulkhead window on the A350 and found it to be a terrible experience. Tight, uncomfortable seat - useless legrest for anyone over 6 feet - and the recline was obviously encroaching too much into the pax behind me's space.

I found sitting in C+ on a 764 for 8 hours was more comfortable and spacious than PS on the A350. I wouldn't pay a penny premium for PS over C+. I didn't notice any difference in padding.

Sorry, but I can't find the answer anywhere.
I'm flying first class SAN to MSP, do I receive free wifi including free movies? I see on the Delta site that it's available but it doesn't say I get it free. The same thing it says for coach. And there is a list of extras I can buy including wifi and quicker boarding. Isn't this already included flying first?
I usually fly American of Alaska and things like this are included. If they are included why are they showing them to me to buy? A bit confused.
