This wiki is intended to contain a list of opportunities to fly internationally configured wide-body aircraft within the United States, aside from the usual JFK-LAX/SFO 767s and newer domestic DeltaOne routes. This is a collaborative wiki, not an OP-maintained thread; please contribute by editing the wiki directly as you become aware of regularly scheduled or repositioning flights. Schedules change far more frequently than community members have time to update this wiki; therefore please verify the equipment before purchasing a flight.

Hopefully it will drive down domestic airfare as Delta tries to keep their revenue up while canceling tons of TPAC flights.

It's been flown by a 767's a couple times as well (11th and 21st) - https://flightaware.com/live/flight/DAL2234/history
Likely just using flight to rotate international equipment between two of their main TATL hubs.

We'll see. Yes I'm aware of winter maintenance. Even with that, I believe DL has more capacity than they are using. And, in my experience, DL has always been very happy to let planes sit rather than fly routes that they don't want to fly. There used to be regular winter domestic widebody routes out of SFO every winter, and those are gone now. I don't think that has anything whatsoever to do with availability of widebody planes. I think DL just makes more money putting 739s on those routes and leaving the widebodies parked. I can't think of any reason why that logic would change because of China. IMO, DL is still going to fly the 739 on those routes because they still make more money doing so. That is my prediction

So this is fun. DL is adding up to 3 daily wide-bodies to SAN during the China cancellations. At peak, this will double daily passenger wide-body movements at SAN (adding to the 747/777 to LHR on BA, A340 to FRA on LH, and 787 to NRT on JL).
