This thread is making me sad that I just booked a flight buf-jfk-lax-jfk-buf to get the BE Lite equipment rather than going through Hotlanta.

I may, I say, I just MAY, have to make a change on the way back ...

I think Kia & Nissan are as well.

Edit: They apparently just have large offices here, but not a USHQ.

This sounds pretty cool -- Mrs. GBadger (GM) and I are flying through ATL on Christmas Eve -- DEN-ATL-PVD, to be exact. Our layover is not short, but I can't imagine that there will be a lot of DMs flying on Christmas eve at 330 in the afternoon! Keeping my fingers crossed!

BTW what are the odds that the 763 that I have for DEN-ATL will be refurbished ?

So, atldlff how much does it cost to arrange me one on my next travel through ATL? I can change my LGA-BOS to LGA-ATL-BOS
What makes you think I have those kind of connections? I am not at the airport, just sitting here in my home office...

I think the thanks go to some awesome people at Delta.

The Elite Services team is Top Notch!! I will be sure to pick up that winning lottery ticket from Karen tomorrow. You did leave it with her didn't you?

Can't wait to hear about others getting the same level of great service in ATL...

With your mention of awesome, I thought this was similar enough to post in this thread - a guy Tweeted @DeltaAssist about his newly-achieved Diamond status & got the hoopla he 'asked for', including a framed certificate & a shout out from the pilot. And his 27,000 Twitter followers all heard about it after he blogged about his experience.

The ROI of Being Awesome:
http://www.ted.me/roi-awesome/

Despite all the special attention, he did not get a ride in a Porsche. Takes surprise & delight to a new level...who will be next to get this kind of attention from a simple @DeltaAssist Tweet? Or rather, who will be the next to ask for it?

Mrs. GBadger, Infant GBadger and myself would be happy to take whatever special stuff you can provide .

Infant GBadger is learning how to travel in style -- she's gone to DC, and will be traveling to MSN, SFO and PVD before the end of the year -- all in F with her medallion parents, thank you (she's a little over 4 months and very well behaved!). There may also be trips to AMS and DBX to visit her favorite aunts in the next year...

Landed at ATL on my way home for Thanksgiving about 30 minutes ago. Sadly, no Porsche pickup and though I was watching intently for them as we taxied to the gate, I saw none anywhere. Perhaps it's still too early in the evening for an ATL-based flyer with no connection to get a Porsche pick up!

Hey, you can look at my earlier posts in this thread where I was skeptical myself & wondered if the OP (the real OP, who started this thread) was a Delta plant. Subsequent posts, combined w DL's social media reputation, lead me to believe that the first Porsche guy was genuine.

That being said, this guy (ted) never states a 'paid' relationship w DL, I have to give him the benefit of the doubt given FTC regulations. And if they targeted him based on his social media influence, that's nothing new for companies savvy in this realm. (I know of someone w 5 times his followers who is even more bold about asking for free perks from companies...only he doesn't fly Delta)

Or you can just look further into his blog...or just ask himself by Twitter @tedmurphy

Everything within our platform is designed with ethics and safety in mind. Our Code of Ethics includes:
Mandatory Disclosure

I don't endorse this guy, I simply passed along a story that I found on Twitter.

Doh! I didnt even think of that. You can't get the Porche pick-up on an international inbound flight. forgot about that little thing called Immigrations!
