Unlike all other 767 versions Delta has, there isn't a lavatory set near the over-wing exits (because they are near the 2nd set of doors).

*Note: This configuration is used inclusive on SEA-PVG, ATL-LOS. It also frequently works SEA-ATL to provide rotation. These aircraft do cover flights to Europe All 36J seats will be sold because it has a crew rest module installed. Also, the Y seats are the older ones like the 777 with the older IFE system (only 767-300ER type with that, all others are the newer seats/system).
**All retired 6/30/2020 due to COVID-related fleet simplifications

What DL is believed to do is put all flights with 26J as the 76Z Version 2 configuration and then change it to 76Z Version 1 closer to departure as needed. If you select 20-21CDE when it is 76Z Version 2 and it changes to 76Z Version 1, it should seat you in 13-14CDE considering that 20-21CDE doesn't exist on the configuration it changed to. All other seats are numbered the same regardless of Version 1 or 2, although there may be minor differences such as row 20 being an exit row on Version 1.

I'm flying PRG-JFK-BOS in late September in BE and from the best I can tell on line , the 763 I'm on has the refurbished layout. Looks like most of the refurbs will be complete by that point, but I suppose there's still a chance that I catch the old recliner layout.

On another leg of the same trip, I'm on a 764 from ATL-MUC, which is one of my favorite int'l planes for no logical reason that I can identify. I much prefer the DL 764s to the A330, 747, 777's etc.

If the 763 has been refurbed, will I notice any difference from the 764? Seems that the pax experience should be the same?

I not the expert that many here are -- the biggest thing I noticed is the 763 has a "flip out" table (open the console cover and lift out the table) as opposed to the "switchable" style on the 764 (push a button and the table pops out the side). The downside on the flip-out style is you have to remove anything sitting on the console to open or store the table but the 764 table pops out too low for me and I have to do some contortions to get it into place.

Definitely a first world problem, though

I believe DL has since modified the 764ER seats to the flip-out style tables like on the 763ER fleet. Please correct me if I am wrong.

Where can I can get more details on Business class seats for DL73 (IST-JFK) for tomorrow, 13th July? The seat map on delta.com shows a 2-2-2 configuration. Are the seat specifications readily available online? Thanks for your help.

2-2-2 equals an unmodified 763ER - they are the older "sleeper" seats. I'd go with row 1 if possible...center section is usually better since you would not have to climb over someone to get up.

This is correct. I love the magnetic rim of the tables...always fun to stand a fork on the tines and see the look of confusion from someone across from you. Perhaps the look of confusion comes from me playing with my silverware, rather than the hidden magnets, but either way I think it's fun.

On a side note, does anyone know if they'll install gasper vents on the 76Gs when they get refurbished. I'd imagine they'll be last to be done, but just curious.

According to flightaware.com you will be flying N178DN, an unmodified 767

This might be a dumb question, but are there 2 different kinds of lay flat seats on the 763? I remember flying ATL-LAX on a 763 with really nice lay flat seats that had a lot of room and were situated at an angle, and then I recently flew JFK-LAX on a 763 that had what seemed like smaller lay flat seats in a different config.

Am I crazy?

The 777s have a herringbone pattern -- that is the seats are offset slightly w.r.t. the direction of travel.

767-300er(76h/76z)

Does anyone know if bulkhead seat 13G on the 767-300ER(76H/76Z) has the extra legroom and the new AVOD or the wall mount shared monitor and limited legroom like the domestic 767?

I flew on the only refurbished 76G (to date) - N154DL (ship 1504) - recently, and it still did not have the overhead vents.
