Unlike all other 767 versions Delta has, there isn't a lavatory set near the over-wing exits (because they are near the 2nd set of doors).

*Note: This configuration is used inclusive on SEA-PVG, ATL-LOS. It also frequently works SEA-ATL to provide rotation. These aircraft do cover flights to Europe All 36J seats will be sold because it has a crew rest module installed. Also, the Y seats are the older ones like the 777 with the older IFE system (only 767-300ER type with that, all others are the newer seats/system).
**All retired 6/30/2020 due to COVID-related fleet simplifications

What DL is believed to do is put all flights with 26J as the 76Z Version 2 configuration and then change it to 76Z Version 1 closer to departure as needed. If you select 20-21CDE when it is 76Z Version 2 and it changes to 76Z Version 1, it should seat you in 13-14CDE considering that 20-21CDE doesn't exist on the configuration it changed to. All other seats are numbered the same regardless of Version 1 or 2, although there may be minor differences such as row 20 being an exit row on Version 1.

Sept 25 2020 Announcement: Delta to retire 717, 767-300ER and CRJ-200

Assuming an origination from ATL, sky303 posted some good info here on ATL-ZRH route.

Patiently awaiting the day all 767's go through the mods, can't stand the domestic F cabins on the old 767s.

Are they modifying the domestic 763s? I thought it was just the 763ERs.

It's my understanding that the domestic 763s will not get mods.

Domestic 763s already have PTVs in both cabins as well as satellite TV and wi-fi. They're as modified as they're gonna get (unless you count their existence after eventual scrapping ).

In other news, as of today DAL88/89 (CDG-SLC/SLC-CDG) are now being flown again with 767-300ERs (with SLC crews ), back from the A330s used in the summer. It appears that it'll stay on the 767 until next summer. Today it was N1605.

Not to Asia?

Is delta sending the old product to Asia at all? I'm going to book soon from HND but I would rather take a train to nrt for the lye flat seat rather than risk getting the older style seat.

With a limited number of planes still to be reconfigured in all likelihood the only time there will be a non-lie flat 767 is if it is on its way to Singapore for reconfiguration. These days Delta seems to be using PDX-NRT for that (though from time to time LAX-NRT if the plane is in NY and it cannot operate JFK-ATL so that it could then do ATL-PDX in time for the NRT flight) as that route has the least competition. The A330 is still a bit of a gamble

Is there then a risk of not having flat beds on NRT-SIN?

Can someone confirm for me whether the hairingbone seat is only on the 777 and A330? Are all 767 that have lie flat the 1-2-1 "staggered" style seats?

Yes. All modified 763ERs and the 764s have front facing lie flat seats in BE.

Headng to NRT and likely then QPG for mods. That would leave only 5 763ERs without lie-flats.
