Unlike all other 767 versions Delta has, there isn't a lavatory set near the over-wing exits (because they are near the 2nd set of doors).

*Note: This configuration is used inclusive on SEA-PVG, ATL-LOS. It also frequently works SEA-ATL to provide rotation. These aircraft do cover flights to Europe All 36J seats will be sold because it has a crew rest module installed. Also, the Y seats are the older ones like the 777 with the older IFE system (only 767-300ER type with that, all others are the newer seats/system).
**All retired 6/30/2020 due to COVID-related fleet simplifications

What DL is believed to do is put all flights with 26J as the 76Z Version 2 configuration and then change it to 76Z Version 1 closer to departure as needed. If you select 20-21CDE when it is 76Z Version 2 and it changes to 76Z Version 1, it should seat you in 13-14CDE considering that 20-21CDE doesn't exist on the configuration it changed to. All other seats are numbered the same regardless of Version 1 or 2, although there may be minor differences such as row 20 being an exit row on Version 1.

DL91 today DUB-JFK was a refurb 767. Very nice indeed. So basically all the seats are aisle seats with row A and D also window seats. I will go on flight tracker later and post the Tail number

Ouch for me. Last northern hemisphere summer, the route briefly was scheduled for the A330 but then reverted back to the horrid old nonreconfigured 767-300.

Both NRT-HNL and vv in March 2014 got changed from a 747 to a 767 with 1-2-1 seating. Is this a 763 or 764? Do the seats face the aisle like on the 777s or toward window/inward like the 747s? Thanks!

A 763 in all likelihood. 764s generally don't operate TPAC. The seats face forward. It's the same product as on the 764. Here's a video of the product:

As long as they lie fully flat that is fine with me. Thanks.

They are. The seats are fine. Just very narrow, makes it hard to sleep as nowhere to put your knees (you can't bend your legs at all, and little room to stuff in blanket around the hard edges), and quite coffin-like. It's fine for resting, OK for sleeping, but not as good as other airline product. (Speaking from recent own and others I know experience off HNL-NGO and HNL-FUK on DL, that is the same aircraft as the 767 on HNL-NRT.)

For example, not nearly as good as the far superior MU HNL-PVG 33E aircraft business class (which is comparable to KE's First Class suites, but is even slightly more spacious and better designed than that) or the superior KE HNL-ICN (2x daily) Prestige Sleeper business class (though only KE51/52 on A330 is Prestige Sleeper; KE53/54 2 hour later flight is on a 747 with Prestige Plus, comparable to DL A330s and old 747s).

If you can fly on KE via ICN (on KE51/52 on the A330), or, even better, MU via PVG (as long as it's the 33E; it normally is on HNL-PVG), you will have a better product than DL.

Row 1 has plenty of space. And frankly I think the extent to which people exaggerate the lack of space in other rows is often a bit overboard.

I think it depends on the sleeping position of each individual.
If one can sleep flat on the back (as if sitting) then surely it is fine (then almost anything is fine).
But if one sleeps on the side, then it is rather tight, with very little to practically no room to bend the knees.

I'm a side sleeper and took a solid three hour nap on LHR-ATL on the 764. I didn't find the seat tight at all.

I find the 76T/76L/76W BE seats to be very spacious. I guess it depends on your size.

Considering flying JFK-PRG-WAW in BE next month (PRG-WAW on CSA).

Showing a 76W, which I beleive is a 767-300ER with the updated interior. Have seat 1A on both flights.

Are all the 763s converted? If not, how common are last minute equipment substitutions? I don't like sitting next to people and require the shelf/arm rest to spread out and get work done.

Thanks!

43 of 58 are done (74%). 15 remaining; the mods start again next month, so there will probably be another 2-3 of the old ones taken out of service sometime in September.

I thought that it was previously mentioned that 15 planes will be converted during the rest of the year. I got a last minute substitution on FRA - JFK to an old 763 and was automatically compensated $300.

Thank you. Sounds like a risk worth taking.

Was on an updated 763 (not sure which letter config) in Y HNL-LAX a week or so ago.

I was overly impressed with seats and the AVOD. Nice big screens, clean looking, very responsive. Didn't require the person behind me punching me in the back of the head to make their selection.
