Just to confirm, there is no need to select an airline for this credit unlike the Amex Airline credit correct?

After searching, the only $49 main fares I found were SFO-SAN and SJC-LAX. I didn't find any $59 main fares, but I did see you can buy up the $44 saver SFO-LAX to $64 main if you really want to max the credit. Bought today, will post if it reimburses.

We have 2 of these cards.
Purchased $100 AA credit online for each card on 12/27/21. One card posted credit 2 days later. The other card never posted... Guess I'll have to wait and see if it posts

Is the airline benefit based on calendar year or account anniversary? I remember I got the credit last year in March or so. Do I need to wait until then to order AA eGF?

One thing to keep in mind is it is only for US based airlines and not international ones.

As another DP, my $50 AA GC credit posted in Dec 2021, 3 days after purchase.
