Thanks for sharing. I'm happy I got the card. My only issue was that when the bonus posted for the $3000 spend in 90 days, I only got 25,000, not 50,000. I think this may have just been a glitch on their end, since 25,000 had been the normal bonus before they relaunched the card a month ago.
I called and they submitted a ticket, and the additional 25,000 points posted 4-5 days later. In my opinion, the best value is to use the points on hotels, when it is safe to travel again, but gift cards are probably easier and not a bad choice. |

SuitCase I am still awaiting the credit (which, sadly, doesn't look it is going to come). Another consideration: I rarely use this other PenFed Visa card so maybe that's another factor hurting my reimbursement chances??

DP: reached the $3000 spend mark before my statement close date so got the 50,000 points posted few days later with the new statement.

Has anyone used the Priority Pass access for $32 a visit (per person?), and if so, does the $100 travel credit cover that fee? The $100 travel credit benefit mentions lounge visits as being covered, but I'm guessing a Priority Pass lounge visit would not be covered since the charge wouldn't be coming from one of the eligible US airlines.
Edit: Found that the $100 travel credit does not cover Priority Pass visits. |

I am also interested in this. Thank you to diesteldorf for pointing out the gift card option for $.0085. Has anybody else found a good a good point redemption that beats $.0085 per point or is this as good as it gets? Booking hotels with points normally excludes the traveler from receiving hotel elite benefits, and with kids that can value above $100 per day in expensive areas. Also, you likely won't get your elite night credit, adding insult to injury. Any other suggestions?
