Read post 844 for tips on being approved for the business card.
It may be easier to get approved for a new business with 0 years and $0 gross income.
Also see the Applying for Business Credit Cards [Consolidated] thread (not-BofA-specific) for general tips on applying for business cards.
Business card Recon Line:
April 2024: BOA Biz Recon (Small Biz Lending, Credit Analyst) 888-782-7717, 888-569-4439 (M-F 8am-7pm EST), both answered by live human in 2-4 minutes. (Both numbers confirmed multiple times in the past 2-3 days.)

Biz card status line: 888 663 6262 (not working)
Biz Card credit analyst line: 888-782-7717
Biz card expedited shipping: wait 24 hours after approval for a card number to generate then call 800-901-9830 and a person will answer. If 1st Rep says "no" ask him/her to ck. with a supervisor. This worked for me.

Credit Inquiries
Credit Inquiries for Personal cards come from BofA. Inquiries for business cards come from FIA.
Credit bureaus usually merge inquiries from the same requester made on the same day.
Inquiries from BofA and FIA will not be merged.
Does one have to call BoA to lower a card's credit limit?
Yes, there is no longer any way to contact BOA online. Phone is the only method currently.
When do the initial bonus miles post? You will get the miles after the statement closes for the cycle in which you meet your minimum spend. Usually AS points show up the Sunday evening after your statement closes, but sometimes it takes an additional week.
If there's a statement credit, when does it post?
It seems to be batch-processed. It will post automatically. Can be on the same statement or the next statement. It does not appear to be based on the statement close date.
Can you send a secure message through your account online?
No. BOA has removed the secure message functionality, even for Preferred members. The only way to contact BOA now is to call them.
Can I apply for another personal Alaska card if I have one open already?
Some people still can, but these days many people get denied. If you don't want to risk getting denied, it's probably better if you close any existing personal Alaska cards before applying for another one. But be sure to lower credit limit as low as possible at least a few business days before you close the card (though the earlier you can do it the better), because credit limit that's left on the card when you close it stays unavailable to new card applications for a year or more (while credit limit that's lowered as a separate step becomes available to new card applications much sooner)!

Applied for BOA AS Biz, didnt call in after it went pending (might be the fatal mistake here).
Then a week or so later, got the letter asking for "proof of business ownership etc" that some folks here have gotten in the past.
So is the consensus still the following - this decision cannot be overturned unless you send in verification of business structure, W2, past 2 yrs tax returns, etc?
Might just have to let this one go and applied again 90 days from now (or is it 30 days i forget)

The first time I did something more realistic, maybe $1200 and 2 years. The second time I had seen the $0/zero-years and tried that and it failed. Is that the secret? Guess I can try again in a 1-2 more months, when the original application that wanted documentation fades away?

So.. um I just got hit with a 2nd hard pull. Is this normal? Anyone else have this happen? Any explanation? My credit dropped like 60 points last month because BOA took over a week to process my card that was maxed out to hit a bonus and it posted maxed out instead of payed off (magically the payment posted the next day...)

So I read a couple posts on reddit daily threads that now even the lower-tier Platinum card will get the original 30k/companion bonus?
Looking at the terms and conditions now: https://www.bankofamerica.com/credit...M&locale=en_US
It no longer makes any mention of $50/5000 lower bonus for Platinum Plus.
Do we have data points on this?

Are you giving a business name, or a you giving your name as the business name?
If you give your name as the business name, your address as the business address, your phone number as the business phone number, 0 years in business, $0 business income, sole proprietorship, no employees, there cannot possibly be "verification of business structure", and your personal tax returns would the only tax returns.
But of course, we don't know if BofA keeps your answers from past applications and compares those to the answers from the most recent applications. I give those kinds of answers on every business card application I make.
Lots of people, at lots of banks, have found out that it's often easier to get approved by giving the "I don't really have a business" answers than by giving real answers.

So similar to some DP above I applied for the business card and they are asking for proof (I made the mistake of putting high numbers 60K for income) They want my Business License; tax returns etc. Is the consensus that at this time I should just cancel the application?

This thread is losing steam, and I totally get why.
That said, and I do not have near the experience of some of you people here with this product, my gut seems to be that the new norm for a 0 yrs / $0 / SSN / name as business / personal address app is the $1,500 CD offer. Feels like a buzzkill, but I can say that it wasn't as much of a drag as I thought it would be.
Will be great to get more data points on the business card to support or deny this.
I am also curious if this Business card will be churnable still with the method above. Practically looking at it, it seems absurd for BoA to approve multiple cards like this with this if there is human review. Anyways, I'll try it out one day maybe.
