AS Account restricted due to churning BofA

I have churned BofA personal and business cards several times, and now I'm getting this when I log on to alaskaair.com trying to book award flight...
Per your request, your account has been restricted to prevent certain online transactions and award redemptions. Please contact Customer Care at 1-800-654-5669, Monday-Friday 8:00 a.m. - 5:45 p.m. (PT) and Saturday 8:00 a.m. - 5:00 p.m. (PT) for assistance.

Anyone else has similiar experience?

Did you request any such thing? If not, I wonder whether the account has been hacked.

BofA already shut down all my biz cards due to churning, but my personal card is still open and I had just received 30k miles.
However, when I called AS, they said BofA put a hold on my AS account and they transferred me to BofA. And BofA says my account looks fine and all the transactions are going thru... so I don't know what's going on.

Only Customer Care can explain what happened. Account "restrictions" tend to be based on unique activities.

Do you have other AS activity in your account (e.g., flying them) or do you just generate miles thru the CC?

If this really is Alaska cracking down on abuse of its mileage program then I am all for it.

I would agree. The bloggers that encourage people to abuse the system just end up ruining things for everybody else though B o A can easily fix the issue by just allowing one bonus in a particular time period.

Bank of America has tightened up a bit with its 2/3/4 rule.

I wish AS and/or BofA would be more transparent about what is abuse in their eyes. I’m an MVPG and AS is my #1 choice airline. I’ve probably had 2 AS cards in my lifetime. Having closed them for a while when not using and then reopening at later date. On a recent AS flight the touting of the credit card by FAs even included a line saying “many people are getting 2nd and 3rd cards to take advantage of the current companion fare for just the taxes offer”. So that’s a bit hypocritical of AS to advertise like that and then punish people for opening multiple accounts. Again I have not done this but I’d certainly really like to know what their criteria of abuse is.
