US Bank Reconsideration Line: 800-947-1444
Use this phone number to check your application status as well. US Bank does not send you an approval/denial email. Many data points show 8-10 business days for decision is normal. Add another 2-3 weeks after that to receive physical card.

U.S. Bank Fraud Department - 800-260-8469. This is the number to call if your card starts getting declined when you try to make a purchase.

Why is the balance due on my business card always shown as $0?
There are TWO account numbers linked to your business card: The card itself, which shows up in the same website account as any personal cards you may have. This will always show a $0 balance due.

There is a SECOND account - labeled the "Central Bill Account" - with its own account number. You must set up a separate website account with its own username and password to access the Central Bill Account. This is the account that will actually show the balance due and let you schedule a payment. Somewhere in the paperwork you received with the card or the first paper invoice, you should be able to find the Central Bill Account's number.

Setting up separate website account for business card:

These are the instructions that US Bank emailed me:

To enroll in Online Banking for your U.S. Bank Business account, start by going to usbank.com. You do not need a Personal Identification Number (PIN) in order to enroll.

Please follow these instructions to enroll in Online Banking to view or pay your account:

1. Click on the Enroll Now link on the right side of the screen.
2. Select the Business Accounts option.
3. View the Terms and Conditions and then select Enroll Now.
4. Select I do not have a U.S. Bank small business checking or savings account.
5. Select I am an authorized officer of a U.S. Bank Business Credit Card.
6. Complete Step 2 of 2.

Once you have successfully logged in, you will be able to view your business account in its entirety. When you are making a payment you will need to select the Accounts Payable account number.

Until the end of May 2015: "Bonus Award Night - Redeem Gold Points for two or more consecutive Award Nights and the last night is free. Exclusively for cardmembers.

From June 1 2015: free night after $10,000 spend in a year plus payment of annual fee. Note: can only be used in the U.S.

"New Account Bonus is not available to applicants who have had this Card or another Club Carlson credit card product within the last 12 months."

Forex fee is 3%

Confirmed with Club Carlson that there is a different Club Carlson account associated to the business card. The Rep required a different email address to attach to the new Club Carlson account before I can register and activate the new number. She got a new email address and I got an alert to the new email address about the email is changed on the account despite there was NONE to begin with. Then I was able to register the new Club Carlson account online, got an instant email to activate the account. So now I have TWO Club Carlson accounts. Once I have seen how my business card behaves online, I would move all the personal Club Carlson account balance to the business Club Carlson account. After that, is done, I will cancel the personal Club Carlson Visa.

But it's weird that no balance is shown, even with 6 charges posted to the account.
You may want to reread nwaflyboy's lengthy post.

Good point. You were right about the lengthy part. I read it at the time, but a lot of it went right by me. A second reading, after my own experience with having both cards open, and it's much clearer. Just wish he had explained how one sets up a separate log in for the business card. I imagine I'll figure that out eventually.

My account displays exactly like yours does RH (heh, I'm lazy)...I'll have to go back and read the other post as well.

Reread the post again. He called US Bank and the rep explained to him to get a new log in for the business card.. US Bank tech support told him the business card needs to have its own log in in order to see full info online as well as being able to pay online. While you can see the business card with the personal card log in, you would not be able to get full info, nor do anything, such as paying the business card online or seeing the payment posted.

EDIT:
I figure it out how to set up the business card log in.
1) on US Bank home screen, choose New User? Enroll Now
2) on next screen, choose Business, choose No on business checking / saving account (unless you have).
3) on the new lines below, choose I am an authorized officer.
4) fill out the left panel blanks now popped up and continue the whole process thru the set up.
5) a final popped up window would list all the info you have submitted, including the ridiculous security questions / answers (minimum 3).
6) after you print it, do NOT click close, if you did, the window disappeared but the screen also froze and would not net you go anywhere. If that happens, REFRESH the screen and the popped up window would reappear.
Click DONE.
7) Now you see the log in screen and you can log in with the new online account log in.
8) Now you see TWO accounts listed - one is the Overall Account, One is the Payable Account. (that is your physical card).
9) On the left hand side bar and click the Payment button - you now will see the "Payment To" Account is to the Overall Account number which has a DIFFERENT account number. Online it only shows the last 4 digits. Probably it would show in full on the paper statement.
Whew, now we are in business. No pun intended.
I dont know if you are using a PUSH method from your bank to pay, whether you should use the Overall Account number or the Payable Account Number. On US Bank site, the Pay To Account number is NOT your physical card.
Hopefully the above details would help. I skip the several screens you have to go thru in selecting the image and also the acceptance of the online banking agreements.

All done. One thing...did/do either of you see your Club Carlson account listed there anywhere? Mine is blank and I want to confirm it is the correct one. I sent US Bank a message asking to confirm that the number is correct. They already show my 50,000+ points in a pending status.

Thanks for the update. Did you already make a charge?

No, the new Club Carlson account number is not shown anywhere either on paperwork or on US Bank site. However US Bank rep can see it and can give you the last 4 digits. Club Carlson rep can see you have another Club Carlson account and can give you the account number which last 4 digits should match with the info given by the US Bank rep. Once a unique email address is assigned to the new account, you can then "activate" the account online for online access.
It seems posting is not an issue. Knowing the requirement of 2 Club Carlson accounts, and 2 US Bank log in, is the issue because such info has never been conveyed by either US Bank or Club Carlson. We all learn from people have gone thru this before us.

Yea, I've made 4 charges so far which I think is why I have the 50K points pending. But unlike the personal account, the line where is says "Club Carlson Member Number" is blank. I sent a message asking what Club Carl number is listed for my account.

US Bank rep told me, the Overall Account, i.e. the Central Bill Account is the one that takes payment because there can be multiple employee accounts under the Overall Account. There is no reason to have each employee account to make a payment. It should be though the Overall Account. Makes sense to me.

OK, finally figured out where my initial 50K points went. Just like you said, Happy, I do indeed have another CC member number. Very weird since they confirmed the last four on the account matched my first account, but now they finally sent me my full account number associated with the biz card and it is completely different. Sheesh. Is it possible/difficult to combine the accounts?

As long as you have both Club Carlson cards, you would have 2 Club Carlson accounts - only one credit card can associate to a Club Carlson account.

The points are freely rransferred between accounts either by calling or by emailing. So inability to combine accounts while having 2 cards is never an issue other than having 2 different log in (as in using a different email address). When and if you cancel one card, then you can combine the account and that is what I am planning to do - to cancel the personal card very soon as no need to pay $75 for 40K points that would not post until March!

Yea, that's what I plan on doing as well. I'll be closing my personal within a couple months. The cust service rep told me I could call in to combine my points.
