Use this phone number to check your application status as well. US Bank does not send you an approval/denial email. Many data points show 8-10 business days for decision is normal. Add another 2-3 weeks after that to receive physical card.
U.S. Bank Fraud Department - 800-260-8469. This is the number to call if your card starts getting declined when you try to make a purchase.
Why is the balance due on my business card always shown as $0?
There are TWO account numbers linked to your business card: The card itself, which shows up in the same website account as any personal cards you may have. This will always show a $0 balance due.
There is a SECOND account - labeled the "Central Bill Account" - with its own account number. You must set up a separate website account with its own username and password to access the Central Bill Account. This is the account that will actually show the balance due and let you schedule a payment. Somewhere in the paperwork you received with the card or the first paper invoice, you should be able to find the Central Bill Account's number.
Setting up separate website account for business card:
These are the instructions that US Bank emailed me:
To enroll in Online Banking for your U.S. Bank Business account, start by going to usbank.com. You do not need a Personal Identification Number (PIN) in order to enroll.
Please follow these instructions to enroll in Online Banking to view or pay your account:
1. Click on the Enroll Now link on the right side of the screen.
2. Select the Business Accounts option.
3. View the Terms and Conditions and then select Enroll Now.
4. Select I do not have a U.S. Bank small business checking or savings account.
5. Select I am an authorized officer of a U.S. Bank Business Credit Card.
6. Complete Step 2 of 2.
Once you have successfully logged in, you will be able to view your business account in its entirety. When you are making a payment you will need to select the Accounts Payable account number.

What I'm wondering is if it's not actually inquiries. That outside agency also provides risk scores for identity theft. I wonder if some patterns trigger ID theft risk and others don't, but it always blames inquiries on the letter.

I've had my CC numbers stolen from Chase credit cards 3 times this year alone. I'm probably a huge risk for them!

If they are using a third party site, perhaps they are looking at 2 years worth of data. Seems crazy. I wonder if you would get a better result from applying at a branch?

There are two fields for income on a personal application (there is also a joint application option). One is the standard income field that says you can include specific items in that number if you want to use them for the basis of repaying the card. The second field is Other Income with a spot for the amount and a description. I put my spouse income in the second field.

It seems that once you are not approved online or declined, the phone rep are useless and powerless to do anything unlike other card companies.

I have been a US Bank customer for over 20 years, they are not innovative, but always offer decent banking service. Can someone tell me what Club Carlson destinations are worth visiting.
I am generally a Fairmont and Westin/W patron. Country Inn and Suites is not below me, but I doubt I visit these properties anytime soon.

I have been doing a 3-4 new cards a year for several years now. Credit score is still upper 700's but US bank still sounds risky for a 2nd app after the Olympic Flex Perks offer.
Has anyone who has been denied been able to split off some credit from another (ie Flex Perks) US bank card to get the Carlson Card (they did give me a pretty hefty credit limit on the FlexPerks in August)? Or close a different US Bank card to get them to grant the CC Visa (which I could easily do once I spend the points from the last offer on airfare).

What he/she is talking about is not freezing any one of the three bureaus, but the ARS, which supplies these cross-bureau inquiry reports, as indicated in that fatwallet link.
