US Bank Reconsideration Line: 800-947-1444
Use this phone number to check your application status as well. US Bank does not send you an approval/denial email. Many data points show 8-10 business days for decision is normal. Add another 2-3 weeks after that to receive physical card.

U.S. Bank Fraud Department - 800-260-8469. This is the number to call if your card starts getting declined when you try to make a purchase.

Why is the balance due on my business card always shown as $0?
There are TWO account numbers linked to your business card: The card itself, which shows up in the same website account as any personal cards you may have. This will always show a $0 balance due.

There is a SECOND account - labeled the "Central Bill Account" - with its own account number. You must set up a separate website account with its own username and password to access the Central Bill Account. This is the account that will actually show the balance due and let you schedule a payment. Somewhere in the paperwork you received with the card or the first paper invoice, you should be able to find the Central Bill Account's number.

Setting up separate website account for business card:

These are the instructions that US Bank emailed me:

To enroll in Online Banking for your U.S. Bank Business account, start by going to usbank.com. You do not need a Personal Identification Number (PIN) in order to enroll.

Please follow these instructions to enroll in Online Banking to view or pay your account:

1. Click on the Enroll Now link on the right side of the screen.
2. Select the Business Accounts option.
3. View the Terms and Conditions and then select Enroll Now.
4. Select I do not have a U.S. Bank small business checking or savings account.
5. Select I am an authorized officer of a U.S. Bank Business Credit Card.
6. Complete Step 2 of 2.

Once you have successfully logged in, you will be able to view your business account in its entirety. When you are making a payment you will need to select the Accounts Payable account number.

Until the end of May 2015: "Bonus Award Night - Redeem Gold Points for two or more consecutive Award Nights and the last night is free. Exclusively for cardmembers.

From June 1 2015: free night after $10,000 spend in a year plus payment of annual fee. Note: can only be used in the U.S.

"New Account Bonus is not available to applicants who have had this Card or another Club Carlson credit card product within the last 12 months."

Forex fee is 3%

Thanks! That gives me hope that I can apply for my wife and have a better chance getting the card. It is a great deal for the second night free and hopefully they will have another great promotion in May

Where have you heard that? I haven't seen that anywhere and I went well into reading every report about US Bank that I could on here and FW and credit pulls and multiple credit card forums.

I applied for the card. Received can't approve you at this time...... Called U.S. Bank and was told could not retrieve credit report. I froze Experian and not Transunion or Equifax. I asked CSR if he could pull from Transunion or Equifax and he said "no". He mentioned that the computer will randomly select the credit bureau for the pull. I asked if I could re-apply again and if the computer would randomly select again. He said "yes" but if the computer recognizes it as a duplicate application, it would reject it.

I have a 66% chance so I may apply again.

Here is my experience:

I haven't applied for the Club Carlson card, but did apply for the LANPass Visa which is US Bank issued.

I am not employed outside the home. I listed our investment income on the application. (I think this was listed in an "other income" sort of space, not in salary.)

I was approved (eventually).

I have not tried with the CC card, but did try with the US Bank issues LanPass Visa.

I was approved for just one of the cards (after the 7-10 day letter).

My credit report showed a single pull on Experian.

Very interesting. That said, you have no hard inquiries anywhere from it (since they couldn't pull EX and wouldn't pull EQ or TU), so it really only prevented you from getting this card. It won't affect anything else though.

From what I gathered they want one of the 3 cra and ARS. In this case he frose the cra they wanted ARS could have still been used to get more info. Freezing ARS would take that additional step away and you would be judged on the one bureau

Only US Bank for major lenders. There's a big thread on either FWF or one of the credit cards forums about ARS and how to access it and freeze it.

Well, I should wait until next February to apply but the other card I am looking for is expiring so I applied this one as well. So bad it's not instant approval. Got the pending 7-10 days message. Is there anything else to do other than waiting? I only have one application for SPG in the past 6 month. (3 month ago, Aug. 20th) I called, they told me to wait and nothing else, no questions, just said it's pending and you need to wait. The number I called is: 800-947-1444

any thoughts on how to get it approved?

Remember this is not Chase their is no reconsideration, the people you will talk to have no power to approve, they are only messengers.

I just got approved but I didn't look to see what card it was. Do they tell you and then ask if
you accept/decline the offer?

Yup, Granola Bars and chips and a personalized card at the Ohare Raddison.

No. They just approve you. Anything with a credit limit of over $5000 should be the Premier Visa Signature if you applied for that. Anything below and it is not a Visa Signature.
