Some of us still earn Delta miles with this card or may want information about past or grandfathered terms and conditions.

Please do not spread panic about miles not posting until after the 10th of each month.
In most cases, miles post in the evening on the 5th of each month if it's a business day, or else the evening of the next business day. "Miles post for purchases made between (inclusive) 5th day of prior month to 4th day of current month."

MO and WM BP for me. It's all I have time for. I'd love to hear some more creative ideas. I have no tax bills, so bummer.

Called up to inquire about any (partial) refunds if account were closed but SunTrust does not believe in that I guess. So for now, I'm afraid only two options are to go with the 2k I miles per month or bring my daily balance up to 25k and get up to 4k in miles per month. Pretty worthless either way though.
since It is before 7/26 when the change begins, I believe the annual fee should still be $75 than 95?

If you pay the fee, my calculations is the cost would be 0.5 cpm. There are much more lucrative ways to use that money in my book.....

It should be. I was billed $75 last month. I'm happy I have the Balanced Banking acct which only needs a $3k min balance. Obv. not happy with 2k a month in Skyrubles, but hey, the 20k I'll earn before I close my acct next May is worth $75. I won't keep it past this year.

This is likely what I'll do. Keep till April renewal then close up shop.

I'm going to close my account once the changes are into effect. Any miles you earn is negated by the opportunity cost of having the money sit in the account doing nothing.

The new 2k cap will be for calendar month or statement cycle?

@sbbi: You are correct, the annual fee charged was $75. Should have stated that more clearly, sorry.
Other alternative I thought of: If there is a debit card out there that allows you to earn Starwood Preferred Guest (SPG) hotel points, we could use that one to earn SPG points. SPG and Delta go hand in hand and SPG allows you to convert hotel points to Delta skymiles (something along the line of 20k in SPG for 25k in miles). Just not sure if there are any SPG debit cards out there.

That doesn't exist. After ST and UFB, I think the only options are debit cards that earn cashback. (Maybe someone is grandfathered on an AS BOA card, but that might be dead too.)

Definitely dead. I think a year ago. One of my friends at work was all about that card and MOs. It also had an annual cap on miles earned, IIRC.

No, that died long, long ago. It is buried in this thread. Transaction go through with no miles awarded.

    Estimated Quarterly Tax Payments

What are some alternatives to making estimated tax payments now that Suntrust has changed the terms and conditions?
