here's a question: so we know the program ends on July 25th. Should we be crushing this throughout July as well? Since miles post on the 5th of every month is there any chance on the 5th of August the cap will kick in and even if we crush it we'll only get 2k? I'm just thinking out loud, I don't think that has been discussed.

Personally, I'm pulling out all the stops and cramming as much money into the account as I can. Money orders out the wazoo. FYI, if (like me) you don't have a local Suntrust, I covered all the ways to remotely deposit that I know about here:

That post didn't even mention push transfers from your bank that you deposit the MO's into. I deposit my MO's at a local bank and push from it INTO my ST account. That is only limited by your transfer limit of the bank you're pushing from. Mine limits at $5K per transfer, so I just do multiple transfers.

To hell with it at this point, I live in SunTrust country and I am depositing the MO's immediately back into the ST account lol. At Kroger I can buy them there and deposit them on the way out at the in-store branch.

As for the $5k/day that I hit pretty much daily, you need to have a relationship with the military (past or present) to use them. I've been depositing $5k in MO's and cycling right back out as they funds are available right after mobile deposit. I did get a call from their fraud squad and they seemed happy to know that the MO's came from my own money. That was about a month ago.

Excellent point. I'll do this beginning next week. Can divide MO deposits between bank accounts. I've been reluctant to deposit MOs but I'm going to rev up now.
Do you guys make the Payee yourself? And the Payer yourself? I've been doing Payee: spouse; Payer: me.
Also, anyone notice they are requiring a Kroger card swipe for Kroger MO purchase?

Where I buy them (prints via WU MOs), there isn't even a line for payer, just payer address which I just write as my home address. I finally dragged myself out at lunch to deposit a handful b/c I was sitting on $6k in MOs and another 3k in VGCs I need to liquidate. It's going to be busy for the next month... cleaning up my Mint.com transactions is becoming rather time consuming.

Question about timing for those of you who have followed it closely.
If I cancel before my AF posts on 6/25, will I still get points due to me on 7/5? I just made a large quarterly estimate in June and I don't want to jeopardize that.
If there is a risk I won't get miles earned when the card was still open, I'd rather just keep it until 2016 fee is due. 24,000 miles for $75 is respectable enough, I suppose.

I read earlier in the thread that it was well established that they were not giving fee refunds. Did you do anything special to get the refund?
