Now the story from the movie Terminal ends up being replicated in all over the world. Got following
"Citizens of Tajikistan are stranded in no man's land between Kazakhstan and Uzbekistan: Uzbekistan does not allow them to enter and Kazakhstan does not allow them to come back"

A lot of groups are also affected by EK cancelling DXB-TPE - partially due to the government applying 14 days of quarantine, including inbound crews.
Now the confirmed numbers are jumping - mostly due to people who are still travelling - and people are starting to feel things are getting out of control. https://www.flyertalk.com/forum/32197801-post771.html has more details and thoughts.

I am almost certainly now stranded in the UK (my own choice). Due to be starting work in Germany, as a border commuter from Austria, on April 5.
As I work for a ferry company, my rationale is that if the travel situation is still bad enough that I can't get home from England, then there is not going to be any work to go to anyway.

stuck in Roatan - Honduras closed its borders
Got in on Saturday, border closed Sunday night for 7 days.
Island is reporting no cases of covid-19, but who knows. we are still able to move about but not sure how long that lasts.
Any advice is appreciated.

How many days did you originally plan to stay, and where did you want to go afterwards?

Here would be MY plan
1. Secure Lodging for the 7 days and beyond if Nec. , Research Return flight info/ options when avail.
2. Touch base with Loved Ones making sure they are ok, and let them know You are OK
3. Find a Nice Beach, grab a frosty Tropical Drink, and thank the Good Lord you aren't stuck in an Inside Stateroom on some Nasty infected Cruise Ship!
4. Figure out your plan "B" stuff in case TSHTF
5. If you are indeed stuck there, and not in "lockdown" . Enjoy/ Explore the Island.
6. Support the local Bartenders, Chefs and ,Wiatstaff
When life gives you Lemons...

can't travel to the airport
I'm a U.S. citizen and I also am worried about overstaying if the lockdown, or enhanced community quarantine, extends in Metro Manila. I'm currently staying in Tacloban City, in Visayas, and I was supposed to leave on the 20th of March, but domestic flights have been suspended so I couldn't go to Manila for my international flight. I had my flights rebooked, both domestically and internationally on the 20th of April. If the suspension of domestic flights gets extended, I'm afraid I'd have to overstay.

Taiwan started restrictions at 00:00 19 March.
A French guy who was staying in TW on visitor visa took a quick trip to Singapore so he could re-enter TW and get another 3 months. He got to TW too late. He left most of his stuff in TW but they would not let him in.
A British guy went from LON-SIN-TPE. His SIN-TPE flight started after the announced time but he originated in LON before the deadline. So, they let him in.

Given that healthcare and other conditions at where I am now (Malaysia) are overall better than in my home European country, I wouldn't mind to be stuck here. Working from "home", like many others now (hopefully!). My concern is what are the consequences of visa overstay caused by potential lockdown.

I'm having the same situation, except in Singapore. The situation here is very calm compared to the U.S. But I am only on a 90-day visa-free stay, and Singapore has very harsh penalties for overstaying? And I simply don't see ANY options for extending the 90 day visa-free stay here in Singapore. Can anyone advise on what I should / could do? I'm more than okay to stay longer in Singapore, the only issue seems to be with the 90-day stay coming to an end for me next month. Would really appreciate it.

We are not stuck as of yet, scheduled to depart Bali in 16 hours, transit Taipei to Vancouver BR 10. Hoping flying with Taiwan's EVA airline will make the transition smooth. We were scheduled to depart 26th, our 60 day Visa expires April 6th. Good luck all.

They are also allowing a certain number of international flights from Manila over the next 72h - that would be your second option...
While Manila has world-class hospitals & care and the number of reported is low, cases are likely under-reported due to lack of testing and the healthcare system is not equipped to handle an escalation of the situation. I'd recommend to leave while you can...

While I'd expect the SG government to be reasonable under the circumstances, I wouldn't expect "I like it here better than at home" to qualify for a visa. Let's hope that the situation improves in the next 90 days...

One option is to fly out via Cebu - there should be flights from Tacloban and international flights from Cebu!
Second option, get in touch with Immigration to extend your stay. Given the circumstances, they'd probably assist. It's certainly better to work on it now than to have to explain the overstay (and likely pay a steep penalty) after the fact!
