Taiwan's number went up a lot the last 3 days (now 77, last 3 days' confirmed new cases: 6, 8 and 10). All of them had recent travel history. Some went on originally planned trips and some went because great deals all over the world, some on business trips and even a KLM First Officer.

Some groups are stuck overseas - many due to EK's suspension of DXB-TPE.

Now the sentiment is turning against those who still choose to travel overseas and want them to pay for their own care (instead of the national health insurance).

Now the numbers are starting to look bad, more criticism of the government is coming out. Some are criticizing the government which was fast restricting people from Mainland China (including its own citizens in WuHan) but slow with the Europe and the Americas. On the other hand, because of recent prohibitions on outbound travel for teachers and students, more people are talking about the legality of the government doing it.

I think it is just a matter of time before a total ban is issued in Taiwan for inbound travels - and possibly non-essential outbound travels.
