Funny you mention that. This morning on the local news there was a report about the city taking steps to curb some of the panhandling.

You also have to watch out for them on MARTA. They love to mess with the doors, causing them to jam and delay the train. I've never seen anything like it in any other city.

Sure. I'm not getting one on Sunday because my EWR-ATL flight is oversold. It's a 733 and I didn't get 14A or 14F. I've landed an EUA on a Monday morning between those two cities in the last six months on a freaking L fare on a 735 and I can't get an EUA on a larger plane with a higher fare? And yes, I'm quite bitter about it.

Time to take a bump.

I was behind and across the aisle from a guy watching a movie with full frontal male and female nudity on the way back from PHL. There were a bunch of kids on the flight and I didn't know if I should say anything.

Yes, I've seen it before.

I've also seen a guy across the aisle reading a hardcore porn mag, including unfolding the centerfold completely and holding the magazine up high so he could take in all of its glory, which meant that everyone behind him could see at least part of it too.

And finally, there was the amorous couple who joined the half mile high club on an ERJ MSP-IAH flight on a Thursday night a couple of years ago. I say the half mile club because they did everything, but, well, what you have to do to join the mile high club. There were only about 15-20 people on that flight, and they were a couple of rows in front of the exit row. I was in 12A, and one other guy was in 12B, and there was nobody behind us. So he and I were the only ones who really witnessed it. The flight attendant spent most of the flight after her initial drink service sitting in 1A, which was empty. They did at least have the courtesy to stuff their used blue Continental blanket in their carry on and take it with them, rather than leaving it for the flight attendant to find.:eek::eek:

There's not much I've not seen in my years of flying.

The guy who took my colleague's fries did not even appear to be a homeless person, just a sketchy individual/general mischief-maker.

I may do it. However, the later CO flight is also oversold. We both have to be home before Monday morning, so unless CO can make a good offer and put us on another airline and get us home Sunday evening, we may not be able to take the bump.

And we will gladly fly them if CO is willing to fork over some travel certificates and put us on DL. :D

I can't figure out the physics behind it. Lord knows I've contemplated it many, many, many times.

1) Book a 752 or widebody flight with a light load in coach, get a row of three to yourself, raise the armrests, and have at it.

2) Large lavs in the 767's and 777's.

The physics wouldn't be too difficult on certain aircraft. In the CO fleet, the 767s have a rather large handicap-accessible lavatory in the middle of the aircraft that takes up the full width of the middle three seat section. It's big enough I've hauled a roll aboard suitcase in there with me and changed clothes in flight before. On the 762 this lavatory is right behind the front economy cabin, and it's separated from the main economy cabin by a bulkhead, so it might even be able to sneak a couple (or three or four) people in there without being seen by everyone. Seriously, it's big enough you could have a little party.

The 777s have a couple of decently-sized lavatories in BusinessFirst. There's one on each side of the aircraft, just behind the second set of doors. Of course the big problem there is that you're right by the rear BusinessFirst galley, which means it would be rather obvious to the flight attendants that you're up to something.

On the SIN-EWR route , there used to be a designated "couples" bathroom but when they changed the A345 to all Business , they decided to make all of the bathrooms tiny .
they pretty much said " No Soup For YOU !!!! "

Is that an admission of membership?
