I'm hoping the selection improves after Labor Day, you know, the addition of Toronto, Montreal, and some obscure city in the Maritime Provinces.

I've been waiting for Montreal to return for several weeks now. I'd also like to see CO start adding more $200+ destinations from EWR to get us to some more exciting destinations.

It looks like I'll have some competition for those seats.

Correct. ^

By the way, I will be driving down to Philly from Manhattan that afternoon and probably driving back in the evening unless there is lots of alcohol involved after Tony Luke's.

Am I to understand this correctly, there is a drive-thru daiquiri place in Louisiana?

Um, yeah. They're like a Walgreen's/CVS/Rite-Aid or Starbucks here. There's one on every other corner.

Oh my lord, what kind of a place is Louisiana.

It's a place you'd only want to visit, not live.

Does anyone here know if there is some type of program that will search for specific fare classes out of a specific airport? I have a certificate for a free int'l flight but it must be on an X or L fare. I was hoping I could use it for the BRU DO but those are coming up as T fares out of EWR.

Ask for specific fare classes on co.com - it's in the Advanced Search screen.

That would require me to know where I want to go. I am game for pretty much any place on MLK weekend. I guess I just have to do it the hard way and look up every CO destination.

There are ways to do it in ITA using the 300 mile search. I think the syntax is from "EWR:: /fc bc=X,L" but I'm not positive on that. If you go to the MR forum and search for ITA booking class it should get you a thread that has the correct details.

I think it would look like this
FROM : EWR
TO: BRU:: CO /F BC=X T

Close, but what is likely to do a better job is "EWR:: co+ /fc bc=X,L" as that will search CO only for X and L fares.

I knew I was close, though forgetting to specify CO was certainly a glaring error. One thing I have seen is that you need to put the fare restrictions in both the to and from fields so that it is processed for both directions. I think that rolov's version will only look for the fares in the return segment.

After a while you can even get burned out on visiting it. It's not my favorite place to go for work.
