Yep. One of the segments was my one and only flight on an ERJ-135. ^

My grandparents had a house there for many years. Know it well.

There are some really smoking hot people working for airlines. Especially some of the regionals (they're usually young).

I recall belynch begging for a Delta Shuttle FA to get him drunk, again. I have not yet run across a well and truly hot FA.

Me three.

I just drew numbers one thru 25 on pingpong balls in black Sharpie. I think I gave myself arthritis.

In other news, I found flights for Florida Christmas that get me a new line. I'm doing PHL-FLL on the way down but I'm getting PBI-PHL on the way home. I booked away from the 734's on US and even considered an early departure on Christmas morning from FLL that got into PHL early anough to justify connecting in CLT. I'm happy with getting a new line.

Excellent, I can probably charge 63K to Amex over the course of a year with business expenses and personal stuff. How many points do you need for a night at an SPG property? Maybe I should start racking up the points for my RTW trip.

Most nice (cat 4-5)Sheraton and Westin properties are 10-12K points per night with the 5th night free. There are some really nice spg properties for 20K night also, but I am cheap with my points so I don't stay there

or you can just order dollar coins to speed up the process. :-:

NYC

Good places I'm going soon:
Guangzhou and Hong Kong

Good places I almost got to go to:
Bratislava, Slovakia (with a free weekend in PRG)
Zurich
St. Petersburg, Russia

Can see some possible Fortune 500 in the list, and others not so fortunate. I've been to Weyawega, though. It's pretty close to Chain-of-Lakes in Waupaca, no?

Other comment on Canton: If Shanghai is NYC or LA, and Beijing is DC, I'd put Guangzhou as, like, industrial era Pittsburgh. Some good museum stuff, though. There has been (international) trading on the Pearl River for a couple thousand years.

LFT-IAH allowed me to grab my very first ATR-42 flight.

You don't fly ExpressJet out of IAH enough then. And it's not just the FAs. There are some really attractive pilots out there, too. Female pilot on my UA Express E70 flight yesterday was gorgeous.

Someone remind me this weekend when I'm home to post that recipe on here.

Anyone familiar with the various Marriott properties at LAX? Marriott or Renaissance, which should I book for Thursday night?

MBM3 Sep 22, 2009 8:00 pm

Despite the aircraft, I really enjoyed my inflight experience on Delta Connection (Skywest) today, SFO-SLC-DEN. The FAs were really great, as were the ground staff. Plus, the FAs were not hard to look at by any means! ^^

And, in true 'Box style, I am enjoying Doubletree's compensation efforts resulting from me waiting 1.5 hours for my room, of which an hour was after posted check in time. I was polite and patient, but grew annoyed seeing flight crews getting their racks while I was not offered jack didly, not even another room choice, a cup of coffee or a damn cookie. Got a sweet suite out of it, plus four drink chits with no posted dollar limit. My rules with the bartender? Nothing younger than 12 years and make sure I know the true value so I can tip appropriately. Plus, mucho water and trail mix appeared while I was at dinner with my 91 year old Grandpa.

My ATR-42s were with Air New Zealand Link (Mount Cook Airline), and TACA Regional.

I remember MBM3 spotting a hot brunette 737 pilot at IAH too. Maybe I'll come teach in Texas.

Before FT
???
After FT
Detained by USCIS twice.
hunted in AMS for an Angolan hooker.
Chipped my chin on a concrete.
Worst sunburn of my life.
Tanked on a beer called titanic.
Slept in a hooker hotel near LAX, a heating grate near JFK, and IAD which was worse than both.
Spent two nights in PBI.
Spent one night in POS and convinced the returning crew I was deported from Trinidad.
Sang Rick Astley in some bar in Brussels.
Went SYD-LAX-ORD-MAN without a layover.
Saw a Man U game.
More
Contributed to the next DL bankruptcy.
Went to SYD.
Mugged at glass shard point in BOG.
Almost thrown out of a minor league baseball game.
Ran from Cops in Alabama.
Got my friend tickets to CUN for spring break.
Argued with Kiwis at some semi-prestigious lounge in LAX.
Made a ton of new friends.
Spent a night in a very depressing HI in FNT.
Been to every RCC in IAD.
Did St. Patrick's day in DUB.
Did DUB, and AMS in WBC/BF.
Going to SIN.

Wouldn't change a thing.

Cr@p has it only been two years that I have been here.

SkyWest crews are always top notch. It's still one of the best regionals out there. It's just a shame they mostly fly CRJs of various lengths.
