I don't know the difference in otters .

Sea Otters are squares. They don't drink, and they only care about exercising and eating a balanced diet of sushi, kelp, etc. River Otters are total degenerates, and can be counted on to come through with liters of quality beer, and A1 Thick n' Hearty Burgers at 3am, when such things count most.

I was in no condition to drive. I wanted to convince someone else to drive me to Ohio at 1am. I nearly had everything arranged, before an errant donut shop intervened and distracted me from my plans. :D

I reckon, then, I would fall into the River Otter category. :D^

Diversion fun...

On VS1 which just diverted to IAD due to low fuel. Wish they had just declared a fuel emergency at EWR like CO...

On the plus side I'm in upper class. On the downside, I had declined the second food service (not expecting a delay), and now they're trying to scrounge up cookies from the Premium Economy cabin to feed us. :(

Yeah, pretty much. They found a basket of fruit so I think we'll survive the famine now.
And for the latest: we're waiting for a de-icing truck. In June. In DC.

 I'm not even sure how to respond to that. You don't happen to see any locusts out there, do you?

I wonder how delayed my 7pm EWR-SFO flight will be tomorrow, should be fun.

I'd avoid flying with me too. I've had more crazy things happen to me than anyone should.

I'm one of the few people out there that can say they've opened up the emergency window exit on a 737. (I also applied to the Guinness book of World Records for most number of lost bags in one year - 17. I never heard back though.)

Did they say why? The low yesterday was 51 F (even warmer near EWR).

The only thing I can think of is ice that had accumulated during the flight and not wanting to have the ice shift around.
