Geez, that kind of stinks. I was planning on flying into JFK to catch a Yankees game. |
Well, three routes I've flown out of IAH on CO has been cut in the past 2 years. YEG, OAK, and JFK (if true). I hope there isn't any more. :o

Looking for a used car?

You didn't see the Yankees this weekend? They were minutes away from you, playing in downtown Houston.:p

I wonder if this street in London is connected? Probably not, but I had to take the picture anyway. Here's the other street sign at that corner. |
How bout some shots of the car without all that extended crap? Ugh.
There used to be a pavilion in Universal Studios where KITT would "talk" to kids while the kid was in the driver's seat. I did it in Universal Hollywood when I was a kid. And the A-Team van is still cooler. The LA backlot has about a dozen of them sitting there in plain sight for the tour, right as you drive off the rickety bridge, IIRC. |

(Yawn)
I got reversed Penalty Boxed last night. After landing at EWR we sat for 45 minutes while our gate opened up. About half the plane was ready to revolt as they were, literally, watching their international connections takeoff without them. The other half was ready to revolt because they were playing Celine Dion over the P.A. I had this braised beef dish last night (spare rib ). Actually wasn't bad. It was accompanied by the creamy tomato and basil soup. Which seems to be "my" Cheese Soup (although I don't mind it) as I seem to get it on every flight. Q: for rkkwan (or anyone else) regarding the AVOD. Is there a way to stop the movie (not just pause, but stop) and then rejoin where you left off? The fast forward buttons don't really seem to do much (I think I'm spoiled by TiVo) so if you leave a movie and you want to rejoin you're kinda SOL. I know SQ has this function on their AVOD (rejoin where you left off) - didn't realize how nice it was until I didn't have it. And, by the way, for anyone tempted by "Semi-Pro" (I only watch Will Ferrell movies on airplanes) - not worth it. |

Pretty nice QF deal for LAX-SYD/MEL on their new A380 (468 a/i). The price is tempting but the thought of doing LAX-SYD in the back is extremely painful. Plus, I can't forget the retro pea green look of the Y seats - yuck! Anyone grab one of these? EDIT: Earns miles on CO but no EQMs. |
