They do offer great prices for business class.

Is there a reason that the IAH-CCS flights get in so late (early) and there is only a redeye available?

There has been talk of sending a few of us to Venezuela, and I was researching flights. The timing is just weird.

So does Silverjet, though, and they're about to go under.

Federal law, FT's TOS, laws of man and the universe...you name it, The Box has no regard for it. Except of course, aerogeekness and beer.

No. It's rather important to pay due respect to that particular one. Treading the wrong side of that line can result in losing one's mainline source for intravenous injection of high-grade Aeroporn.

Speaking about over under, if one were to go over to the newsstand they would discover that AIM has suspended trading on Silverjet shares, as Silverjet has been unable to obtain future financing.

Over under two weeks before Silverjet suspends flying as well as trading.

I hate seeing the business only TATL airlines going belly-up.

I suppose. However, that's a sore subject for me, and it's sore to the point that my opinions are likely better kept to myself. (I must be getting old or starting to care....in the past I wouldn't have stopped myself.)

Having the oddball scheduling desires that I do (out on Friday after work, back before work on Monday), I've actually been eyeing that CCS flight. Lack of interest in CCS (have been to that pit twice before), ticket prices, and Chavez have kept me from heading down there. However, if the price was right, I would consider it...just to hop a flight over to Isla de Margarita for a cheap Caribbean weekend.

It is a bit sad. I would imagine those in New York will be hardest-hit, price-wise. The existence of those airlines did little, if anything, to reduce the sky-high Oilbiz fares out of IAH. Even with the Summer BF sale, I don't think you can nab LGW for under $2,500 this year. How I miss the promo rates by CO & DL when DL launched JFK-LGW. I bought a return EWR-LGW in BF for $999 when that deal came out. That's cheaper than IAH-LGW in Coach, these days.

Will there be any TATL all J carriers besides L'Avion and Privatair after Silverjet folds?

I uploaded some pics of my adventure in Argentina.
No FCT though , as It has not opened yet :D

CCS to Margarita would be a new line on your FM...always that to consider.

I will answer this and also celebrate my 1,000th post: ^^^^^^^^^

Answer: wouldn't that depend on if Open Skies ever gets off the ground? Or were plans for that already killed?
