I can't believe I'm watching Oprah right now. Hmmm, If I pop one of my antacid tablets a day I can poop away over 6 lbs of fat in a year.

I don't think it works that way. What Dr. Oz said is that if you get 1000-1200 mg of Calcium in your diet everday you're body will dump the fat. Need to take Magnisium too so you don't plug up from the Ca.

Here's the on-line version of it so I don't say too much wronge.

Well a 1000mg of Ca tablet. But now that I'm reading the lable closer, it's listed as 1000mg of Calcium Carbonate but it also says "each chew contains: calcium 400 mg" so who knows what it contains.

No kidding. I don't have acid issues, but my partner does. Maybe I should start chewing one of his pills every night.

Some are listed as a great source of Ca on the label IIRC. Or you could crew chaulk, I mean Ca tablets too.

Fortunately, my favorite foods have Mg....bread and chocolate.:D

Olton Hall May 26, 2009 2:56 pm

Now I understand the label. Calcium Carbonate is only 40% Ca and the rest is natural filler.

icurhere2 May 26, 2009 2:56 pm

I don't partake of either bread or chocolate often.
