I think the mosquito thread is going to beat the 1k-bumped thread. :D
In the early 80's I was on an inter China flight. The FA greeted us at the door in her lovely Mao outfit, frilly apron, holding a fly swatter. Had no clue why she was holding a fly swatter until I had to use the bathroom. One the back wall, above the toilet, had to have been over 100 mosquitos waiting for my you-know-what to be exposed. I decided that I no longer needed to go. :D |

Did ya'll read that baggage handler at Orly refused to unload a plane from Mexico?
That's a new brand of crazy of which I was not previously aware. |

I'm sorry for your loss. I can certainly understand your anger.
I am guessing that UA overbooked those misconnects onto the flight because it was the more correct thing to do. Knowing where you are on the list is why CO wanted no one to know because of all the misunderstandings. But you asked for clarity and now the PDA site is here. I actually love it and it has decreased the amount of "am I going to be upgraded" questions to almost nothing. At the end of the day, i understand both sides and do think UA did mostly the right thing. The real variable is how much the OP was delayed. Does it warrant compensation? No. Personally, I would have asked to be rebooked SEA-NRT-LAX as compensation. :D

Accompanied by the finger wag, of course. On yesterday's MSP-ATL flight, the NW flight attendants couldn't get the A-330 to show the safety video, so they had to do it the old fashioned way. Having seen that DL safety video far too many times lately, I was quite glad they weren't able to show it. The more I see it, the more it annoys me. |
I'm 2 hours late with the finger wag comment.:o

As I recall, this was discussed some time ago...it's not nearly as nice as I can make it since I didn't have access to Photoshop.

Ranks up there with the women who used to come in my father's store when I worked there during the summer who kept their cash in their bra. They had no qualms about pulling it down some and reaching in there to dig out a few bills. And the hotter it was outside, the more they sweated, and the wetter that money would be when they handed it to you to buy something.

I've been able to resist the catalog since it arrived on Saturday. Now that I have some time I can take a look and drool. |
That shampoo bottle has varied uses, now that I think about it.

I use to work for Duty Free Shoppers and the little old farmer type Japanese ladies stored their money in their panties. It was not a pretty picture when they would squat down, in the middle of the aisle and pull out their money.
