I think I'll have to wait until 2010 for the Hopper, as Honeymoon and 'Stans will monopolize my time in 2009. Hopefully there will be a GUM-IAH/LAX nonstop by then, as hinted at in the article.

August may actually be up in the air for me as well. I'm still waiting to see how some other things play out.

I keep changing my mind. Can't book for June 2009 yet, so a few months yet to decide. Presently, I'm leaning towards some time in Langkawi, some time in Turkey, and some time in Scandinavia (Finland or Sweden).

I'll give you credit, those destinations aren't common. SEZ and MLE are so pedestrian.

I definitely want to hit up those places at some point (not on the flightmemory yet). However, they're not convenient stops for a SkyTeam RTW. I don't think CZ or KE serve Langkawi, but it shouldn't be too difficult to get to from KUL or SIN, which have lots of Asian and Longhaul Europe SkyTeam flight options.

Sorry to double post but I just set myself up nicely for a little rant.

I went to one of our neighborhood deli's for lunch and they had pulled pork as a special. So I ordered it "Carolina Style".

I swear they looked at me like I had 19 heads when I explained that, yes, in fact, I wanted the Cole Slaw on the pulled pork. And yes, it sucked. I don't know why I bothered.
