I did, too, as well as a poster; but my crush was on Parker Stevenson.

Check out the old 70's movie "Lifeguard". A young Parker was in that, at the beach, in California... You'll enjoy it.

I'm going to have to skip this one, at least for dinner. I might be able to sneak in for drinks later. I've got two different other groups in town that "booked" earlier. :(

The margarita I had at Shade (great choice, Hartmann) was rather pungent, and believe it or not so were the two vodka and cranberrys I had on the party flight. It took a good five minutes for it to taste like a mixed drink. I mentioned that to the beverage manager at Chelsea and she said to write it up for Customer Care. Maybe vodka behaves differently at altitude like they know wine does.

It'll be about 17 years for me. I was the right age when the books took a more mature turn and terrorists killed Chet the best friend's sister.

The book is called "Double Down", and a quick search revealed that it is indeed on sale.

As a fairly recent adult. I'll see if I can find the post about it.

I can't pull up threads, posts, anything. I think I told baglady the story while we were in the hangar. Long story short, a woman walked up to my desk and was asking very basic questions about Atlantic City, and I asked her about the nature of her questions, which led her to tell me that she was researching a book. She spent over an hour with me, during which time she took a lot of my ideas and made notes. I'll write up all of the references I can find to my conversation with her as I'm reading the book.

Might also be that craptastic Minute Maid cranberry garbage they serve that's like 50% high fructose corn syrup. Don't believe me? Go to the store and compare the ingredients list on one of the cans from CO to a good, no sugar added cranberry juice cocktail. There's a reason that cranberry apple concoction Coca Cola sells the airlines tastes odd.
