The Irvine Hyatt is great on weekends. I got a ton of bonus points from my $109/night stay. :)

Often HR Irvine is sub $85 on weekends. With a closed RC on weekends and a G bonus, it is a good one to collect points on a cheap stay. ^

My wife just called me and told me we are going to my nephew's baseball game tonight if it does not rain. That means its time for me to start drinking. :D I hope it rains later

I hope you had asked for a status match so you could bank an additional 500-1000 diamond amenity per stay. Also, look for properties known to close their regency club on weekends for an additional 2,500 candies :D

OIC. I was too lazy to request a match. I just signed up for the fast-track to Diamond. :o

His padre goes down there for hunting.

Come hell or high water, Im going next year. He offered to pay for the hung/lodging/shells if I covered the plane tickets this year but I dont have any vacation time. He usually goes in Nov/Dec and again in April/May. Either to Argentina, Paraguay, or Uruguay. Im trying to talk him into an African big game safari but those are 3-4x more pricey than SA hunts.

Hoboken was absolutely beautiful on Sunday. Lots of people hanging out by the river. You probably already know this, but just in case, don't ever get the frozen custard from Rita's. It's more like frozen shaving cream

Ha Ha I don't think I ever had Ritas in Hob. It is a chain in Jersey and usually packed. I used to go to The Frozen Monkey Cafe, but it closed down.
Did you happen to walk by the  that is Carlo's Bakery from Cake Boss.

Do you hunt anteater, alpaca, or three-toed sloth down there? I hear the sloths are easiest to catch.

There was talk about a tubing do in July, can someone PM any details as in where in particular? There's a chance I can swing by for that as I'll be somewhat in the area.

07/17 - New Braunfels. I don't know that any more than that has been decided/planned. I'll have to ask my cousin where he was planning on launching his tube.

g'deh box from YYZ. Have a nice view of the field. Just watched a Jet Airways a330 touchdown and I have a view of maple leafs as far as they eye can .

In case anyone is ever wondering -- the Hilton YYZ is significantly nicer than the Westin.

I am going to try to make it work too. I think it was July 17. I am coming back from MBJ on the 14 so I may just fly to SAT for that weekend.

I have a tentative reservation at the New Braunfels Fairfield Inn for that weekend.

Moving 40+ bottles of wine from NJ to TX via car is going to be interesting. The obvious solution would be a large cooler with some ice packs in it, but I really don't want to be hauling a cooler in to the hotel each night. Any other suggestions I may be missing?
