I need more work on flexibility that racquetball, running, biking, and yard work don't provide.

Good morning from the hublet.

I'll be there around 1-ish today, and then back tomorrow morning around 11:30-ish (I think).

I was singing Ratt's "Round and Round" in the office earlier today.

One of my childhood friends spent his high school years looking like the lead singer of Ratt (long curly hair and Spandex). I haven't seen him since he went off to attend the Guitar Institute of Technology in LA. I wonder if he survived the end of the hair metal wave.

I got in early this morning and am at my parents' house on the East Side. I will be there tomorrow in the late morning/early afternoon, depending on whether I take the 12:30 or 1:30 flight (depends on whether my parents are working tomorrow morning); if I'm there at 11:30 I will be in the PC. I'll drop you a line tonight or tomorrow morning to let you know.

Wow I have been working on various special projects for the past hour and my day has not even begun.

Does anyone know if row 1 on the 772 with the new seats is any good?

mwg25 May 19, 2010 9:37 am

SYD is ticketed. I have till 11 AM tomorrow to either chicken out or have a very interesting chat with my parents. The more I think about it, the more I realize that doing this without telling them is just a bad idea...

I'm having my broken tooth fixed this afternoon. Perhaps I should just have him weld my mouth shut since I'm into making waves at work:rolleyes:

Probably true. The kicker is that this schedule, amazingly, IS convenient for me - and this year particularly it's hard to justify paying even "slightly" more than I have to for MRs, what with the actual honeymoon and wedding to save for...you know? :(

I have been to Bali. It is quite nice and I would recommend a visit, but it still is replete with many of the usual Indonesian annoyances (bad roads, bad traffic, somewhat dirty air, dirty public beaches). That said, if you go for more than a few days, rent a private villa and don't bother with any of the major hotels. Villas end up being much less expensive than hotels per night and are a much better value for the money. We stayed at one where we had essentially our own compound, with a staff that came in every day to cook meals (that were included in the per night rate) and clean, and access to a country club. If you ever go there and need villa recommendations, let me know.

Here's what you do. It works every time. Take a quarter. Choose "Heads I go" "Tails I cancel". Flip the quarter in the air. When it lands, pay attention to your immediate reaction (which will be quick and subtle, so pay attention). If it's "Oh no" then go. If it's Phew" then cancel.
