Just got this from a friend at CO about the Brazil visa process:
Most Brazilian Visas now issued are good for 1825 days which is 5 years! See link…. The main rule is your entry must be within 90 days of issuance or it is VOID. I think this is now waived but not totally sure. http://www.passportsandvisas.com/vis...cttype=Tourist |

I specifically requested the five year last time, and got the 90 day instead. I read (I think in teh Brazil forum) that they have gotten :rolleyes:, and are generally only issuing 90 day visas from U.S. Consulates these days.
