Yeah, I had read about it the other day, there is a poster in the LH forum who gave details without posting pictures, he either works for LH or has an inside source. He was very defensive when asked about the angled C, saying LH does not compete with SQ and EK.
He also said LH was like Hilton and Swiss was a Boutique Hotel.

I would say that LH F competes with SQ and EK, but LH C definitely remains a step down, especially now that LH is retaining angled-flat C seats on the 380.

I do need the EQMs for now, but there are other ways to obtain them that don't involve 40 hours of E- in one weekend. Not that I wouldn't have loved to go, though (never been to Australia, new lines, etc.).

Are they still $100 or are they more now?

Wow. I guess I should make additional use of mine before my passport expires at the end of next year (six months before the Brazilian visa expires).

Alas, I don't yet have the luxury to selectively decline such things. And I definitely need the EQMs.

That said, if I do go, there will have to be absolutely no talk of this on facebook or twitter because I have family members on both of those. They totally get the idea of maxing out trips with crazy connections on the other side of the country, and even can kind of wrap their minds around the idea of a same-day turn transcon, but I think this would sound like a wholly greater order of  magnitude and I'd rather not go there right now...

Managed to keep FRA a secret but that wasn't even 36 hours, and a good chunk of it was spent in the US.

SO. INDECISIVE.

"BSB" as in flying into BWN? I so wanna go there; got a cousin there. I'd want to work somewhere else in Asia into that trip.

I need the EQMs right now also, but there are still are slightly more expensive, more convenient, and more comfortable ways of attaining them this summer.

Made it back from the ANC run. I landed in PHL last night and decided to stop and get a cheese steak. Of course there was a baseball game and hockey game that was letting out as I was driving through. Now next week is ABE-EWR-IAH-ANC-IAH-ANC-IAH-EWR-ABE. The bus to and from ABE should be interesting

ConciergeMike May 19, 2010 8:23 am

Teh Box should descend on Tony Luke's and do the Ultimate Cheesesteak Challenge.
