Good Afternoon, Box.
So the Branch Manager here just asked me if I could relocate from the conference room to an empty office, because they will be setting up the burrito bar in here in a few minutes. I inquired as to the occasion for this and he replied that there is no special occasion, they do this every Tuesday. I guess Happy Days Are Here Again for the financial services industry. Happy Birthday, ssullivan! |

Sure, but he has to disguise it as "X1" because there is some debate as to whether his commercial use of the data on united.com is actually legal. ;)
Log in to your UA profile and set your account to advanced for the inventory details. Then so a search for a standard reward (2x miles) on the flight you want. Mouse over the "flight details" link and you'll see everything. |
Let my daughter watch a little Sesame Street (saved on the DVR). Elmo's World dealt w/ fast and slow. On Elmo's fast and slow channel, they were promoting, "Fast and Slow Times at Ridgemont High." ^:-:

Not sure what to do in the following in the scenario... Any tips would be greatly appreciated.
We've noticed my wife's car's passenger door having little scuff marks on it from being hit in the same place over and over. Our garage spots are small but we try to make it easy for the person parking next to her to have enough room to open their door. A couple of weeks ago my wife noticed a full out dent where the scuff marks used to be. We know it's the person who parks beside us in the garage because the car is only used for home to work and there is no one next to the car at work. I suggested my wife write a nice note to the driver, asking them to be cautious opening the door and that we understand the space is tight. Well, yesterday, my wife was planning to put the note on the door when the girl pulled into her spot at the same time as my wife. Very kindly and without placing blame my wife said, "Hi, I know the parking spaces are tight, but could you try to park over a little more? I don't want to hit your car and we're as far over as we can go. We've noticed a couple of scuff marks and we just want to keep the car in good condition and know that you want to keep yours the same way." The other driver looks at her and flatly says, "Wasn't me." and proceeds to walk to her home. I am tempted to go and buy a little video camera to record her hitting the door everyday. She's been rude to us before but I've always tried to still be nice. This recent occurrence has pushed my buttons a little though and if I can get her on camera hitting the car, I may try more drastic measures. Any other ideas? I don't mind paying for the dent, they happen. But I don't want to pay for every dent that this girl causes because she's too lazy to take her time to park better. |

Can't you just call the cops and write up a hit and run? Just to scare the other driver a little? You won't be able to prove anything, but it will show you shouldn't be messed with. |

I know it's a PITA and you shouldn't have to do this but it will save your car from getting those little nasty dings. |

My work night was boring, which is always nice in baggage service until the last flight arrived.
Nothing like watching two sets of non-reving employees get into a verbal battle over something the gate agent did. :D |
The new Bay Area weather pattern:
3 days of very warm weather. 3 days of rain, followed by 3 more days of warm weather. Total is Day One of the rain and cold temps. Perfect for napping. :) |
