I can't do karaoke. Not that I'm saying I'm a superstar singer, but I don't have ANY legit pop chops and it is hard to distinctly discard 10+ years of professional classical training. :p
Aha! Yes, ORF is the other option. Depends on scheduling and prices, I guess. For once, I'll be the one with the flexibility. |

So I was talking with a friend of mine in MAF... we're getting the Q400 starting this fall. MAF and LBB will be the first TX destinations to get it. :td::td:

depending on pricing/schedule might want to look at possibly using PGV(greenville NC) or OAG(Jacksonville NC)

I only had classic training and that was when I was a kid. It's real easy to remember to breath right and such after doing quick warm ups. Otherwise I sound like rubbish since it's something I don't do on a regular basis. My voice is too low for pop.
I can't belt, and I don't have diva-high-notes. However, I can harmonize/blend with anything you throw at me. Duets and backup lines (think the Pips) are where it's at. :D |

But if you're on certain routes, you may get the dreaded black plastic tray F meal. It's not much better than the can-o-pasta.

Let me be first in the 'Box to wish ssullivan a very happy birthday! I hope it's a good one for ya!
ETA: I sent this thinking you're in Atlanta. Come to find out you still have almost an hour to go before your b-day.:o |

I heard a FA say that UA is doing away with the black plastic trays  and bringing back the plates. :) Now if they would only do something about the quality of the airline.

Ohhhhh, interesting! Thanks - I wouldn't have thought of those.
Do you have a usable falsetto? There are TONS of male singers who live pretty much exclusively in countertenor territory. I can't belt, and I don't have diva-high-notes. However, I can harmonize/blend with anything you throw at me. Duets and backup lines (think the Pips) are where it's at. :D |

ETA: I sent this thinking you're in Atlanta. Come to find out you still have almost an hour to go before your b-day.:o That's OK. My crazy (not the good kind of crazy either) aunt called yesterday at 8:27 AM eastern time to wish me happy birthday. I didn't answer. I wasn't even awake. But on her voicemail she not only wished me happy birthday but followed that by admitting she didn't remember exactly what day my birthday was, and she wasn't sure what day yesterday was. But she figured she was close so she'd call anyway. Apparently when she gets off her meds she loses track of time and what day it is. I'm sure my father will be thrilled with to hear about this tomorrow evening when I see him, as he's the only person who really watches out for her. |

My IAH-BPT flight tonight was one of the smoothest turboprop flights I've ever had. Beautiful weather for flying at a low altitude tonight when we did it, although there were storms to the northwest of IAH when we departed. But the flight was crystal clear, no clouds, no wind, no turbulence at all. And yet the girl behind me was on the verge of projectile vomiting the contents of her digestive system within 3 minutes of us taking off. Her brother and mother were seated on either side of her and kept fanning her and talking her through the flight. Poor girl. I was just glad she didn't get sick, as the back of my head was in the line of fire. I'd hate to have seen her on that flight the last time I did it, when we flew east across strong north winds, and the plane was rocking and rolling the entire time.

I love me some SF340s :D it was odd to me that the biggest storm I've been in this year was at TYR and it was also the smoothest flight! |
