I did like this comment below the story, "First time i've agreed with this lady... Will check my temperature to make sure I am ok.... " I think I agree w/ her. Though, I'm sure IAH will still be a hub.

If she is talking about local and maybe state incentive I am fine, if Fed, I am 100% against.

I hate dilemmas. Just as I’m about to go full time at the current place, I secure an interview next week for a position I applied for between Christmas and New Year’s in NYC. Similar pay and bennies I suspect but 1 hour longer commute each way and much more expensive commute too. (thank you gov. christie :rolleyes:) It’s more secure though. Current work has been meh since the talk of full time as I haven’t had a chance to do the work I’m supposed to do. I’m thinking of going through with the interview just to see if I can get it, you know, for ego purposes.

She sent a letter to Gov. Perry the Crook to encourage him to put a package together. I dunno if there is enough room in the world for all the egos that would have to come together on that deal. :rolleyes:

I would like to say that comments such as those above really do not help the general FTer. When I started flying UA last year after a 30 year hiatus, I was really expecting bad things due to the comments made in various threads about the equipment and personnel. It wasn't true. The planes were fine and so for the most part were the FAs. It was just like CO for the most part and since I did not fly anything with a meal service, I was not able to evaluate that part of the system.

I think that it is ok to give your opinion as long as we all know up front that it is an opinion and not a fact. I don't think that hyperbole helps in informing the general membership. This is my opinion :)

I believe she is talking about state/local help. What can she do at the federal level to help CO? Nothing that I can think of.

I personally liked the fact that she held a press conference at CO HQ and CO had more involvement in it and nor did they care to.

She's a media whore, and if there is a camera somewhere, she will find it. From what I understand, CO is not her biggest fan due to her being a giant :rolleyes: on a CO flight.
