Oh my. No, no no no. That simply will not do. You must come back to AUS so we can get more good beer into you.

Mrs. Mackie and her mother used to drink that swill, but I converted Mrs. Mackie into a flavorful beer drinker.

Though, she's still quite happy after only two. :D

Great! I think my flight is around 6:20 pm.

OK...as next week unfolds, I'll have a better idea of timing. I'll keep you posted.

But yeah, I'm glad Randy likes us. And it's probably due to my earlier points about having succeeding in not degenerating into something at even OMNI would look at and say, "No way."

Pretty much exactly what he has said to several of us in person. At the SMD1 reception in ORD, he expressed a pretty genuine-sounding sense of surprise to me. I don't think he's ever really seen a group of people create the sense of community that we have here, and I know for a fact that Teh Box warms his cockles. He also acknowledged to me with people in earshot that AA and UA are very hard fora to be a new guy in.

I definitely would be up for another afternoon spent outside leisurely sipping a hefeweizen(or two) at the beer/wine place you brought us to!:-:^:)

Me too. I had a wonderful and relaxing time drinking at that place. In fact I enjoyed all the places we went drinking to. ^

Unfortunately, I can't. I'll just be getting back from SFO Thursday night and will have lots of  to catch up on here. I've had a harder time getting together with the NY/NJ Box contingent than the IAH/AUS contingent.

I had no idea there was airlift at Dyess. Thought it was just the B-1's housed there.

There are a lot of C130s, all being rotated in to new C130Js.

B-1s are maintained, flown etc from there as well.
