Skip the TATL. It isn't cheap. The domestic bit won't be cheap, but it won't be terrible, either, for what it is.

Good Afternoon, Box.

Great meeting with client today down in Hopewell NJ. Originally, they wanted to wait three weeks after the last pilot branch to begin the rollout, but everything has gone so smoothly, they are starting w/o May 9.

Hamilton Station to NYP used to run me almost $20 one way. I haven't looked to see how much it has gone up.

Paid $24 this morning for Hoboken to Hamilton, two peak, one-ways.

Me too, except the Texas International part. I grew up watching CO transform from the quirky, Meatball era hodgepodge of a carrier into an innovative, high quality product under Bethune. I will be sad to see the brand retired.

It will definitely be sad to see the brand go away. However, as someone, I believe it was HeathrowGuy said here earlier, if CO is racing toward mediocrity anyway, with very little to distinguish itself from other airlines any longer, then what's the difference in the end? For me, as long as EWR remains a hub, I think I'll be fine with this.

Brit,

I was just down in our company store and discovered that I can now buy UK-import Cadbury products. ^

Not a super bargain quite yet - 230g Dairy Milk for $5.30, 53g Starbar for $1.35.

Hey, what are tryin' to do, put me outta business? I'm Brit's candy mule, you got that??!! :D:D

I like Vanguard.

I'm very happy with Fidelity. They have an excellent website and are very easy to reach on the phone if you need help.

Like what? They've been great for me so far.

The biggest issue I've had is that they continually delay the execution of trades. If I put in a buy/sell after hours, it usually gets executed a full day and a half after the next market open. :td:

So do you have to sell pretzels part of the time to get that great rate?:)

I've heard the airfield referred to as Kelly by a number of Air Force folks, including my cousin who did some C-17 training there.

The base is just Lackland though.

Lackland is a huge catch-all at this point. The entity known as Lackland is where the Basic Training is, the airfield operations that used to be Kelly, Wilford Hall, and Medina Annex. Medina felt like it was across town from the Training Group area.

First there was the robotic pancake sorter. Now, there's the robotic meat sorter:

A couple of plants I've worked with have machines like these (although not sorting beef jerky sticks). It's pretty cool to watch them in person, having 12 pickers loading 1000+ units/minute. The vision systems on the robot system can account for random orientation of the product, and can measure dimensions to reject improperly sized items.

It goes up 25% in the morning. There will be no more peak/off peak stuff. Only peak. Off peak travel increase is closer to 50%

Of all the push-it-out-the-back aircraft, I still think the C-7 was one of the coolest. So cool, in the USAF's mind, that they traded the Army control of helicopters for it. Land it anywhere, kiss the babies good-bye, and get the hell out of there.

Take Jersey Shore, and apply it to a hair salon.
