! Poo. CO and Borders, 4 miles/$. UA and B&N, 3.5:1. I guess this just forces me to change my card choices.

For those who work within the Mint's constructs, yes.

A "heavy" month for me now involves $2,000 in coins.

! What constructs has the Mint placed on coin purchasing?

So it's still possible to buy a modest amount and spend them each month without triggering a warning bell? Can you still get the free shipping with a $500 order?

I have been able to avoid problems.

The NA are limited to 50 per year and the presidents are still 2; I'm using both judiciously. I only order 4-8 boxes per month.

I use the Chase debit card for my Chase checking account in lieu of cash. I get the miles and I don't use an actual credit card. Of course, I have m:rolleyes:unds of debt on my two chase credit cards due to the wedding and the move, but that will be almost entirely eradicated once the home buyer credit arrives.

! That seems doable. I can make that work for the second half of the year.

Belynch I know when people get married they can get in "hot water" but saw that in the Maldives Conrad lets you sleep under water. Really cool^

! My debtloads are on a Discover (transferred away from a Citi account, paying it down on a promo) and the Hilton AmEx. I'm thinking that more CO checking miles are in my future, as is the eventual end of my relationship with AmEx.

! That sounds like us. Those miles sure do add up when you do that and it costs you zilch out of pocket and creates float in your checking account. ^

Does anyone know if a LH F boarding pass entitles me to enter the UA IFL?

Not sure exactly which emoticon is appropriate here.

About to board my third-to-last IAH-ATL flight as an Atlanta resident.

The Hilton Amex is free. Certainly not one I'd give up. Also an Amex card often gives travel discounts. I think we all like to travel:rolleyes:

! Fair point. The charge card can be replaced if I can get a suitable combination of credit and debit products from UA/CO.
