Considering that the Estate Tax is generally levied only against estates in excess of $3.5M, I'm not exactly going to be shedding a lot of tears. Plus, the reinstatement will no doubt be a boon to those in the estate-planning industry. ;)

In 2011, the tax will be levied against estates in excess of $1 million with a 55% top rate.

I thought the tax credits were the creation of W *oh my* and the Obama administration simply allowed the two highest bracket cuts to expire, but leaving the rest.

The only things certain in life are death, taxes, and financial necro-buggery.

Sheraton Hong Kong Hotel & Towers in Kowloon for $2,000 HKD or Le Méridien Cyberport on Hong Kong Island for $1,300 HKD

I am arriving in HKG at 10:30 PM. From what I remember the Sheraton is just a few blocks from the MTR, but I could be wrong.

You rule out the W

I did. I just can't allow myself to spend close to $350 for a hotel that I will spend less than 9 hours in.

Ah, yes, the B/C tunnel. If they've changed the music in there, it's been since December. The version of Rhapsody that they play is very highly adapted. I personally much prefer Marcus Roberts' version.

My security method is this:

1) Enter T1 near the Global Services checkin area. If I can see the elite line backed up before I reach the document checker, then I check out the "hidden checkpoint" that's by the T1/T2 connector.
2) If that's backed up, I walk outside to T2 and go through there. Generally, if 1 is backed up, 2 usually isn't (or vice versa). I generally avoid the dAArkside of ORD, except on long delays when I go over to T3 for Macaroni Grill (or Carrabba's -can't remember which).
