Even Terminal C at IAH has nice wide concourses.

Just wide enough for golf cart drag races.

:( Hope it gets better.

Nah, that probably wouldn't be a patentable idea anyhow. He was doing something with the preparation of the oils themselves.

And it turned out to be quite the good idea. She told me that I fell asleep before she did. :-:

You forgot TPA :(

No lounge as ALCO mentioned, but easily one of the best gate-to-curb experiences I've ever had. Then-girlfriend's family took so long to get their  together with the adults and the three munchkins that by the time we got off the tram and down to bag claim, ours were the only bags left near the carousel. The B6 baggage staff had put them on a cart and left them next to the office. We pushed the cart out to the two rental cars and 45 minutes later, we were on our way to the house. (Yeah, 45 minutes...argue over car seat placement, adult seat assignments in cars, and luggage placement in cars...)

Morning, Box.

The people who hate ORD are the people who connect through ORD (especially the ones who connect from F11-B22). Since it's my home airport, I'm probably a little biased, but it's not too bad.

You neglected to mention the psychedelic tunnel between B and C, which as of last week was playing what sounded like a Japanese version of Rhapsody in Blue. I haven't had as much luck with security as you have, but I'm usually at ORD in the late afternoon anyway, and premier security still beats the regular security.

My FIL has one related to preparation of low-fat salad dressings.

Nice, spacious terminal... but no lounge. :td:

But it has had those outdoor shuttle trains to the concourses for decades. I remember riding them as a child in the '70s, and I thought they were the greatest thing since sliced bread.

TPA, like the terminal CO is in at FLL, also offers easy access to rental cars. I like being able to get out of the airport and on the way to the beach within 10 mins of collecting our bags. (My kids walk slowly.)

* Security is usually pretty quick, even in non-elite lines (and in some cases, even faster). On Monday mornings, I can shoot for arriving in the parking garage at departure-60, get through security, grab a quick breakfast at McD's, and make it to my gate with time to spare before the boarding call.
* Because they're so busy, the TSA goons don't powertrip as much as at smaller airports.
* The new high-B RCC is nice.
* When I do need to check bags, they're typically pretty quick. I've had times where even landing in B concourse, my checked bag has made it to the carousel before I did.

What's not so good:
* Insufficient seating, especially in the UX gates and some of the 767 gate areas.
* Not enough food choices, especially in E/F
* How things go south in bad weather (although that's improved a lot with the new runways opening)

ORD is ok; it's just croweded and showing its age now. I remember flying through it in the mid and late 90s and thinking about how sleek the UA termina was compared to other airports. Now, it just seems dingy.

Absolutely the opposite at MSP, at least IME.

I thought that once you got used to the premium cabins, you can never go back?

My one quasi-run-in with a totally abusive TSA agent was at MSP.
