Sorry to hear. I hate buying cars as well, which is why I've only done it twice. (I'm not fond of making car payments either).

I am impressed that you had a VW microbus.

Thanks, I feel better already :D;) I think. I'll know more after I do my shopping. Anyone have an opinion on a diesel? I have always wanted to own one.

Sorry to hear about your car. :(

Is finest Soviet Tractor in Transdniestr. In 2008, was only vehicle in all of Crimea capable of hauling Pulkova twins simultaneously (blessed be their glorious peasant haunches - like two great cabbages of sweet love). My cousin Yevgeny can give you very good price. :-:

How did the engine fail? What broke?

Check the price difference between diesel and gasoline, and the price differential between diesel engined cars and gasoline powered cars, and do the payout and efficiency calculations. See if the $ difference is worth it to you.

I have heard reasonably good things about BMW's diesel, but I wouldn't buy a German car. That being said, I test drove a VW diesel a few months ago. I felt like I was driving a delivery truck.

I drove a 26' Penske truck from SAN to AUS. A VW diesel is nothing like that. :-:

Perhaps that is because a 26' Penske truck is not a delivery truck; it is a moving truck (or moving van).

Which exit are you getting off of?

Wow! Never heard of a Audi with an engine gone at 140K miles that was not modified. Are you going to stick w/ Audi? What is on your short list of cars? Going to go Japanese? BMW? MB? Caddy?

Don't order an Equinox, you'll get it some time in October. I won't specify the year.
