Hahahahaha, the plumber told me that if it needed a new handle for the faucet in the tub, it's $59.

The part is $12 at Home Depot and involves inserting a single screw.

This guy can screw off.

I wish I knew someone to refer to you back that way, my parents did a plumbing job that involved two tractors, jackhammers and over 400 feet of pipe that came in at a rate less than some innercity jobs I've seen before for something simple.

Haha, the guy gave me a pamphlet when I paid him that talks about service costs and don't feel like you've been ripped off by what you're charged because the plumber incurs many costs to come out to your home. This really is something special, I need to scan it in and post it.

Seems to me that a great deal of their "expenses" are tax write-offs anyway (which I suspect they don't completely calculate the effect of which when they set their rates).

And at least half of it probably doesn't even exist.
