How do I know what I don't like with no exposure to them? I get a weird vibe about W's, but that's about it.
W FLL was also very ^, as is W Montreal. San Diego is the only one on my avoid list. |
Happy birthday to unkfrank :)

Looks like the good LGA-SNA B fare is gone. Of course, it disappeared before I got to use it and I actually could have really used it today. :(

If it turns out you don't like it you can always not go back. But until you actually have the experience it is all just your mind playing games with you. |

I was aware of such for Brodeur and Langenbrunner, but not the others. I've just always been a fan of Pando.
See above re: Chandelier Room and W Hoboken. :D |

Regarding potential doosh factor, the Ws are also fine, so long as you avoid the Bar/Club area in the evenings, and don't intend to have extensive staff interaction. At most hotels, the extent of my staff interaction is picking up a key folio. I don't really care if the staff is full of itself in most cases, as I didn't travel to the destination to hang out with the check-in clerk or concierge (no offense to concierges intended, I just generally prefer to use the "random walk" method of exploring new places).
I'm far from trendy and I'm not a big fan of bars/clubs but I love Ws for the rooms. I limit my interactions with the hotel staff and spend most of my time outside of the hotel, so the doosh factor never becomes an issue. |

Too bad. I would have liked to pick up a few more to Southern Calif.

A stay at teh W Seoul Walkerhill would calm any brand fears. That's simply one of the best hotels I've stayed at anywhere. Korea does W right.
