You'd be better off walking. At least a lion won't burst into flames after eating you.

Doubtful. The Namib Desert nearly got the best of Ray Mears, and he's a survival expert (on Brit TV, the precursor for Bear Grylls and Survivorman).

the problem with hot-dipped galvanized nuts is that the two different metals encourages corrosion of the nuts after they are installed. This when when install my nuts I make sure I use ANC aircraft spec nuts.

Lets face facts, corroded nuts are bad, aircraft spec nuts good.

Is this the one you found last year? (October or November?)

Anyway, after a successful arrangement of pre-occupied schedule , I decided to take advantage of this by myself. I purchased yesterday (2 days prior departure) and got EUA on both legs.
Not comparable to Q-UP mistake regarding EQMs, but still no bad to get FC RT to California priced $198+...

No. Someone else found the DFW-SEA one ($400 or so all-in). The one I found was IAH-SLC-ATL-MSY. There are other good cpm Q-UPs out there, which I'm willing to share via PM (otherwise DL seems to clamp down on routing rules rather quickly if they're posted on MR Forum).

I have to be in the right mood for them. They can be enjoyable though, especially when drunk.

Any folks here that have used AS (especially in the front cabin) recently? I have an upcoming SEA-DFW in F with them in March, and it will be my first flight. About the same as CO up front, more like DL, or as bad as NW?

More like a cross between DL and NW. The seats aren't that great, either. IIRC they have plastic cutlery and not so exciting meals, but I am not sure how a SEA-DFW flight would be catered.

your flight falls under the following 2 categories from
AS.com :

Flights 3 — 5 hours in Duration
First Class Cabin - Morning flights offer a hot light breakfast. Midday flights offer a hot sandwich and salad. Evening flights offer a light hot meal with a salad.

or most likely :

Transcontinental Flights
First Class Cabin - A choice of hot entrées for breakfast, lunch or dinner, depending upon time of day.

Head to the AS Board Room, eat some soup, enjoy some drinks, then you can pass on the lunch if it stinks.

Curious to see how that trip turns out. First flight on a DL domestic-configured 763, and first flight on AS. Also, two new routes. Should keep the flightmemory happy.
