I think you took a post in the Penalty Box seriously :p

And, no, Hartmann's dinner wasn't cancelled. I was just kidding about a fictitious after-party at the firing range. Besides, firing ranges are boring. Fun with firearms requires hunting leases in remote corners of Texas (like Llano or Lampasas), in what the Late Dr. Thompson would have termed "Bat Country." The people that actually live year-round on such leases as caretakers are absolutely the weirdest folk I have ever come across. You might say they don't get out much.

Ahh. Got it. I can't even think to post more of a response - the coffee hasn't kicked in and I'm at the vacation house with the gf's family....screaming munchkins everywhere, please help me.........

I thought you were armed.

Please note: More sarcasm:D

I am at the Yard House in San Diego,
they claim to have the Wordls Largest Selection of Draft beers
yet no sign of Old Stock Ale
which is well-designed to round-out and mellow with age. It's brewed with classic Maris Otter malt and Fuggles and East Kent Goldings hops, all imported from England.

Yard House is okay, but I too am disappointed in the claim to Worlds largest selection of draft beers.

I got it that time - genuinely missed it the first time.

In the morning they were atrocious but they were great in Magic Kingdom....thankfully for the rest of the trip it'll be just me and the girl in the parks, and we're just expected back to the house for dinner. My girl's sisters (one of them being the mother of all 3 munchkins) had commented to her how well I get along with the kids seeing as how we were initially so scared of each other...what they don't know is that I really do hate kids, just not those particular kids.

Okay, so I understand why the kids were scared of you. You did say you were armed right? What makes you fear them? Are they packing too?

Please note: Even more sarcasm :D
Hope you and the G'friend have a good time in Ratworld.

They ARE armed...the weapon comes out every few hours and changing is needed as a result. Plus, as adults, we're not used to the power of screaming and crying. Apparently, when little kids scream and cry, something needs to be done about that.

Welcome to the barricades, Comrade. The jackboots of postmongering are on the march. We shall meet them in the trenches.

My Addiction

Darn. The routing I had planned out that would add three new routes and one new airport to my FlightMemory map costs a bloody fortune. So much that there's no way the travel agent Nazis will ever allow me to ticket it. So I guess I'm stuck flying to DTW instead of FWA for my next trip to beautiful rural northwestern Ohio. Oh well. At least I managed to sneak in a connection via EWR that nets me more redeemable miles. And I do at least get one more line on that map that's not there already. Why can't the airline fare gods and travel agent people understand that I need to add new routes and airports to my map and price things more favorably?

At least there's good news. Yet another successful 5 day EUA just arrived in my inbox. ^
