G'day, Box. Looks like the rain is trying to stop here but it's going to mushy out for a long time yet. My back yard can be described as "A River Runs Through It."

I hate daylight savings time. My internal clock is totally messed up. I enjoy the fact that we'll have the sun up longer but that's about it.

I don't get 'how the sun is up longer'?? the day of sunlight ends sooner due to time change. The seasons make the sun out longer, but the time change does nothing to extend the day.

I never understood this one bit.

My body adjusts with the seasons, not with DST!

I went to bed at 3am (post DST change) and woke at 8am...I am tired and confused.

You're right about all of this. I hate changing the time. I got 7 hours of rest last night but am still confused with the new time. It should be 10am not 11am and that means I have to get ready for work an hour before my head says to.

Changing the clock in my car take two people and darkness. PITA.

Thursday evening, I was talking to Hartmann, ssullivan, and ALCO about the Amish school shooting from a few years ago. I found some pictures I took during the day. Mind you, they are from the point of view of someone who was in the news industry. But, you can get a sense of how big this story was at the time.

I suspect I won't notice this year. It's been rather dark and gloomy today so it will seem like the sun will set earlier today.

Not looking forward to tomorow's commute. My way to work is flooded. Main route and alternates 1, 2, and 3.

Ha
Just imagine an acre of back yard with large pools of standing water (and mud) and then add 5 large adult labs to the mix. While 4 of the 5 are yellows (only one black), when they come in, I have 5 black labs :o

Mrs Radonc1 runs the dog department. I have asked her about posting them but she has been diverted elsewhere for the present due to her mom.
You can go to her website and see her dogs (am I allowed to post the web site ??) If not, PM me and I will give it to you.
