Well I am on the plane back to BNA. Officially tured down for being too tall even after telling them my height two weeks ago. :(

Got on earlier flight back to BNA in an Exit row. Will grab dinner at airport and head straight to Art institue as they are having an oreintation for new hirers tonight at 5 pm and I get in at 5:30 and goes to 9 pm then drive home for an hour. Then bck up in the morning to come back!!

Nice to have a job bummed it isn't on a plane. :(

Sorry the decision was made for you but at least you do have a job. That's a good thing in this economy. ^

Sorry to hear but as I mentioned earlier today, your back (if it had a separate voice) would be cheering.

Congratulations regardless, Scott. You're better off making the money and not getting non-cash benefits.

Spending can always be leveraged to get award flights.

Am I correct in assuming that the place is in Florida? If so, what city?

I'm not 50, but I know someone who is...and, well, quite honestly, $25K for a reasonably decent place is probably a steal.

Seriously, maybe I should just write a check and buy this for my parents as a supplemental retirement property.

Exactly. Fiancee is on the "I want to upgrade my engagement ring" jag again. I told her that if her solution to do so yields RDM's and/or EQM's, I'll be satisfied.

No kidding. I wish I had some of his fiscal restraint.

Advice from the esteemed gallery - what are the places to eat near Hilton MSY Riverside / Convention Center. No M&S, so I'm confused. If there are no recommendations, I'll end up on RewardsNetwork.

Mileathon, here i come!

Yep. I'm holding off on opening an account, waiting for Mileathon. There's now a Chase branch very close to our home, so I plan on walking over there and opening a new account in a few weeks. I need the miles (have burned too many lately), and the Mileathon credit is even better.
