Some fire departments in Texas do that. If they get called out because you've been a butthorn and started a fire that wasn't contained if it was dry or for some other reason, they send you a bill.

Excellent. :-: Surely those departments have arrived at a basic number that only rises with time spent on scene, resources wasted, number of people mobilized, etc., etc.
